I am currently working with a national provider of mental health and substance misuse. Joining their close-knit team, you will take a proactive approach to substance misuse recovery. You will manage a team and service co-located within a multi-disciplinary team within NHS Secure Community Services.

In this vital front line management role, you will be working as a Service Manager, taking responsibility for everything from the day-to-day management of service contracts and staff, through to client support and building maintenance. We`ll also rely on you to develop a service/location training and development plan and look after the service`s budget. Managing all aspects of risk will be important too, as will ensuring data entry onto our MI and reporting systems is accurate and timely. In short, you`ll do everything you can to make sure the quality of the service we provide is nothing less than exceptional.

If you have significant experience of direct client work in an alcohol, drug or mental health setting and are used to recruiting, line managing and supervising staff. All you need is the perfect environment to put your skills to great use then this could be the perfect opportunity.

To be successful within this role you`ll need significant knowledge and experience of working in mental health and undertaking risk assessments. You will be solution-focused and outcome-driven, with a firm but inclusive, open and encouraging management style, lots of tact and diplomacy and the ability to lead by example

You`ll also need to be highly motivated and flexible with the ability to lead from the front and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary partnership. A management qualification or evidence of significant management training is also preferred. About the Role

The HART service helps people return home from hospital, or prevent them from being admitted to hospital, and regain their independence by providing reablement support. Reablement is short term support which helps someone to become as independent as possible for them, by giving them the opportunity, motivation and confidence to relearn or regain some skills for daily living that may have been lost as a result of illness, accident or disability.

The Key Duties:

The Reablement Team Leader post is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Home Care Assessment Reablement team (HART) working in the community and with our health colleagues within a hospital setting.

Reablement Team Leaders will be responsible for undertaking first visits, including risk assessments, providing day to day line management support to Reablement Support Workers and undertake a Care Act Assessment where an ongoing eligible need has been identified.

It is an important role in the day to day running of the service which operates 365 days of the year from 7am to 10:30pm with a rolling rota shift pattern which includes regular weekends, early, late and day shifts and bank holidays.

You will work with Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, to help deliver an agreed Reablement plan, to help Service Users identify and achieve their goals relating to a range of social care tasks such as washing and dressing, showering, meal preparation and helping people engage in community activities and other natural support resources, using an asset- based approach.

About You:

• Relevant experience working in adult social care settings and good understanding of the Councils Adult Social Care strategies.
• Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent and relevant experience working with adults in a social care setting is essential. A good understanding of the relevant regulations and legislation and service Frameworks.
• Ability to use Information Technology applications e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and database applications and able to identify and record critical information and demonstrate quick thinking and problem solving.
• Ability to prioritise and manage own workload and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately, both orally and in writing, with a wide range of people, including representatives from other agencies, using skills of negotiations and persuasions.
• Working on own initiative and as part of the team and to effectively liaise and work in partnership with other agencies to ensure the delivery of integrated services and achieve positive outcomes for service users.
• Ability and willingness to travel and work from various locations throughout the County and travel between sites as required.

You will need access to a vehicle.

A flexible approach to work, access to a vehicle and drivers licence and an Enhanced DBS is required.

As a Personal Assistant, you will be responsible for managing administration for our Principal which includes managing emails and post; supporting with the arrangements of meetings; coordinating travel arrangements; minute taking; organising the administration for projects; coordinating and lead on projects within your role; supporting the Corporation with administration and leading a small reception team. From time to time, you will be required to cover the Central Administration Manager.
THE CURRICULUM AREA – CENTRAL ADMINISTRATION
It’s an exciting time to join the newly formed Central Administration Team where no two days will be the same. Our purpose is to support the administration and coordination behind the events that take place on the college calendar. Assist with and deputise for the Sister / Charge Nurse in the management and organisation of the ward/Clinic. Maximise use of clinical and staff resources, implementing best practice in patient flow, admission and discharge arrangements. Promote the development of new services within the ward area and assist the Sister / Charge Nurse to implement change. Maintain efficient and effective communication with the Sister / Charge Nurse, the multidisciplinary team and the Matron on issues related to patient care, ward management and organisation. Participate in staff recruitment and selection processes and wider recruitment and retention strategies. Act in a Professional manner and ensure self and ward staff adhere to the UHL Uniform policy Act as a clinical expert and use own knowledge to develop and enhance the development, skills and competence of others. Work collaboratively with the Education and Practice Development team, Clinical Support Nurses and Multi Professional Teams to ensure that education and development opportunities are provided for the ward team to enable staff to be both confident and competent to perform their roles safely. Act as a clinical resource, mentor / assessor / supervisor / preceptor of learners and staff as required.
