We have an exciting opportunity for a Year Manager to join the team at Howard of Effingham School. As with all of our Support Staff roles at the Howard, this role ultimately supports students by contributing to students’ learning activities by managing the day to day business of the Year Team, and assisting with all aspects of students’ progress, including their personal and social development.
A good general education is required, together with a relevant vocational qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning Level 3 e.g. Support Work in Schools Qualifications Level 3 (SWIS) or equivalent qualification related to working with children and/or young people is desirable.

Your new role
You will:

• Preparing for what is needed for year-end in relation to Pillar Two reporting
• Work with CBCR data to prepare analysis under safe harbours
• Work with the Senior Tax Accountant to complete the group's tax reporting and provisioning analysis, entity by entity, for the year-end group reporting.
• Reviewing work with APAC and LATAM tax managers covering the detail for their regions
• Overseeing the input of analysis and results from the US CT team into the group's consolidated workings
• Working on the calculations for the Group consolidation level DT analysis under purchase price accounting
• Assist with preparations for full Pillar Two reporting
  • Ad hoc work to support day to day compliance, governance and advisory tasks during a busy period leading up to the March year end
  • Transfer pricing analysis and documentation as needed
  • Look at business risk, formalise policies and document as needed

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant with several years' experience of working in-house. The ability to get to grips with organisational structures quickly in order to understand risks, what is required and when. Be hands-on with compliance and reporting, as well as providing advisory technical knowledge when needed.

Key Responsibilities Responsible and accountable on a day-to-day basis for information governance work in the Trust. Responsible for ensuring compliance with the NHS Code of Practice, Data Protection Act and Common Law Duty of Confidentiality. Do you have experience within a role that holds transferable skills, such as care assistant, support worker, residential carer, sports coach, psychology grad etc?

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to support our Primary and Secondary Special Educational Needs Schools in or near Leatherhead.

We are sometimes able to accommodate flexible working for various days, hours and timings to work around your personal life. We are also looking for permanent members of staff too!

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

The ideal candidate will have:
- A positive attitude
- Good work ethic
- Calm nature
- Happy to use own initiative and get involved
- Able to be flexible
- Kind and Caring towards children of all needs and abilities
- Happy to take on coaching and training
- Have previous experience working with SEN children (not essential!)
- Hold a valid DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
