My client is a top tier Civil Engineering Contractor.

They are presently delivering geotechnical and civils improvement works on a major Rail Framework which spans from West London to Bristol.

They are seeking to employ a Design Manager to assist with the timely delivery of projects in this region.

Previous experience of working on Rail and Civils project experience is essential.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Manage permanent works design subcontract packages to achieve delivery of cost-effective and compliant Contractor's design within agreed timescales and fee budgets.
- Implement design management procedures so as to comply with ISO 9001 design requirements and Client requirements for management of contractor's design specified in the Contract.
- Lead project's implementation of Value Engineering, Design for Health and Safety BIM.
- Draft project-specific Design Management Plan and revise same periodically
- Control and track design changes using the Design Manager's Toolkit.
- Implement the joint venture's and/or client's design assurance procedures.
- Facilitate technical co-ordination between disciplines
- Facilitate review of design deliverables to ensure required Quality is achieved, particularly with respect to: Compliance with Client's requirements as defined in the main contract;

An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Senior Children's Registered Manager / Responsible Individual (RI) to join a reputable therapeutic residential care provider, offering excellent benefits.This role offers excellent benefits along with company car and a salary range of £55,000 - £65,000.

As a Senior Children's Registered Manager / Responsible Individual (RI), you will oversee multiple Children's Homes, providing strategic guidance, ensuring quality care to create a safe, nurturing environment for children.

You will be responsible for:

- Supporting and supervising Registered Managers across homes to maintain high-quality care and operational standards

- Acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring children's and staff members' safety and well-being

- Ensuring all homes comply with regulatory requirements, aiming for a minimum 'Good' Ofsted rating

- Embedding therapeutic practices across all homes in collaboration with the therapy team

- Monitoring staffing levels, resources, and training to ensure a capable, well-supported team

- Participating in care planning and evaluating outcomes to support each child's development

- Conducting quality checks, including audits, to ensure consistent care and documentation standards

- Visiting each home regularly to build rapport with children and staff, fostering a supportive community

What we are looking for:

- Previously worked as aChildren's Registered Manager, Children's Home Manager, Children's Care Manager, Regional Care Manager, Responsible Individual (RI) or in a similar role.

- At least 2 years of experience in Residential Children's Social Care

- In-depth understanding of Trauma-Informed Care and therapeutic practices (e.g., PACE model)

- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)

- Track record of achieving 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Ofsted ratings

- Full UK Driving Licence and enhanced DBS clearance

- Familiarity with Children's Home Regulations and related legislation

About You


NVQ Level 3 in health and social care desirable
Be well-organised, IT literate and adept at allocating and delegating work appropriately.
Proven ability to lead and supervise others.
A good understanding of care planning processes
Be experienced in or happy to undertake training on administering medication
Above all, have a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling.

We’re looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to our Chippenham site. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will ensure that all matters affecting the production and processing of activity through the site are carried out effectively and in line with key performance indicators.

Day to Day

• Motivate and manage a team of MTOs to achieve, and where possible exceed, all performance objectives
• People management tasks including Return to Work meetings, investigations, appraisals, coordinating overtime, monitoring performance and attendance 
• Effectively manage resources to achieve KPIs
• Be committed to continuous development, constantly strive for increased efficiency, productivity, and growth  
• Maintain two-way communication with team members   
• Deputise for the Team Manager or other Team Leaders as required  
• Ensure a proactive approach to Health and Safety and compliance with relevant policies  
• Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with customer and stakeholders

• To carry out any additional tasks as agreed with the Management Team
