Enterprise Financial Risk (EFR) seeks to deliver effective independent risk management of the activities and processes associated with managing the Company’s capital, liquidity and interest rate risks, including price risk in the CFO managed securities portfolio.   As the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) function covering the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Group, we also bring together a holistic point of view across all seven risk types for the Company’s CFO.

EFR Team / Division:   Enterprise Capital Risk Management
Enterprise Capital Risk Management (ECRM) is a department within Enterprise Financial Risk (EFR). This group is responsible for providing an independent assessment of Bank of America’s Capital adequacy and the risk to our capital position(s), as described within BAC’s Risk Framework. The department’s aim is to support Bank of America’s purpose in making financial lives better through responsible growth. This is accomplished by providing an independent perspective on the effective utilization of Bank of America’s Capital resources and ensuring we understand all the risks that could impact our Capital resources. The goal of the department is that a healthy and sustainable Capital profile is maintained through a business-as-usual environment and also during times of stress; supporting the Businesses Earnings Plans 

Role Summary:
Operating within BAC’s Risk Framework, understand and drive all components of the end-to-end Capital/Capital Risk management process/program for the Enterprise. As a Risk horizontal team, it is our role to ensure the Enterprise is provided and adheres to our Capital Management policy and any resultant standards and guidance. Key components of the Capital/Capital Risk Management program include appropriate risk identification across the 8 lines of business and legal entities, establishment of effective stress testing processes across a range of scenarios, establishment of risk monitoring processes across the 8 lines of business and legal entities; including the review and challenge of Board and Management Level Risk Appetite Limits for our Enterprise and material entities. In addition to our key Risk Framework responsibilities, ECRM is responsible for completing our independent risk management mandate including ensuring the Company’s capital calculations (spot and forecasted) are appropriate, including any changes to the calculations, up to and including Basel III Endgame.

Key responsibilities:
•    Develop capital rule expertise on Basel III Endgame regulations with specific focus on the Market Risk section known as the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB)
•    Support EFR coverage of Basel III Endgame by executing capital calculation testing and performing review and challenge of regulatory rule interpretations
•    Develop and demonstrate acumen for the identification of risks and mitigants (including market and economic environment and connectivity to other risk stripes)
•    Ensure understanding of the business processes that may increase our risk, as well as the mitigants to that risk
•    Assist in the establishment of all Enterprise Risk Management Program requirements (see program elements above)
•    Coordinate and conduct execution of risk framework activities that are the responsibility of EFR, including but not limited to independent review and risk assessment of FLU owned processes (e.g. capital calculation, capital forecasting, etc.)
•    Conduct and ensure appropriate and adequate documentation for all independent risk reviews and risk points of view, including appropriate escalation and communication to Senior Management
•    Conduct and document risk’s acceptance and understanding of the capital impacts from new products and new transactions
•    Deliver effective review and challenge of front-line owned processes that generate or impact our risk or Capital position
•    Draft and communicate executive and committee messaging on a regular basis in a variety of formats, including power point and MS Word
•    Support corporate-wide risk related initiatives, including regulatory change
•    Enhance the Risk landscape, by ensuring our balance sheet and business model is appropriately stressed across a variety of scenarios, baseline to bankruptcy (resolution)
•    Provide subject matter expertise related to Capital risk management process and Capital stress testing to the Risk verticals teams, Corporate Treasury and other partners across the enterprise, in order to drive the execution of the stress testing framework and ensure Risks identified are reflected across all scenarios

Key Requirements:
•    Strong analytical skills, including both analysis of financial data and written reports
•    8-12 years of Markets Risk, Finance, Accounting or Risk Management experience. Note, Diverse backgrounds or experiences welcomed; however knowledge of capital rules and application of the rules required, capital markets product knowledge a plus

Global Risk Management (GRM) leads bank-wide initiatives for management of all aspects of risk, including strategic, market, credit, compliance, liquidity, operational, model and reputational risk matters to support sustainable, profitable corporate growth.

In a data driven economy, strategic data asset management is foundational to add to the enterprise value. Within GRM, we have established the Data Strategy & Management (DSM) function. A key pillar of this function is a growing Strategic Coordination and Implementation (SCI) team.

Under DSM Executive’s leadership, the SCI team will develop a holistic vision on how best to structure data sourcing and data quality control strategy for GRM so it can unlock business value. What we’re looking for:

Experience:

• 15+ years of experience within technology risk, control and governance, Internal Audit or SOX disciplines with increasing responsibility and work complexity to include progressive management roles in large, complex organizations.
• Strong expertise in collaboration, facilitation, and coordination of the mitigation of risks.
• Adept at navigating governance structures.
• Experience raising awareness of information and technology risk throughout an organization.
• Significant experience working with Financial Industry regulators and regulations (E.G., SEC, NYSDFS, State Regulators).

Role Summary: The Quick Response Center (QRC) Nuclear Plant Manager is directly responsible for site leadership and management of all operational aspects of the QRC. The primary objectives of the QRC Plant Manager are to drive market-leading response and customer service with a focus on operational execution. This position is responsible for QRC operational planning, driving the customer experience, repair scope creation, and manufacturing at the site. The QRC Manager will drive programs to support safety, quality, and operational excellence at the site. These will be measured and monitored with monthly KPIs including TRR/LTA, OTD, Past Due Backlog, AMP cycle-time repair quotations, direct labor utilization, cost-estimate accuracy, and Warranty.

Responsibilities:

- Drive QRC metrics for Year Over Year improvement in Safety, Quality, Operational Excellence, and Customer Experience.
- Enforce uncompromising Safety and Quality expectations by holding site accountable to adhere to safety standards at all times.
- Foster and reward a safety-first culture where everyone understands and owns their role. Drive the development of a mature safely culture with a focus on maintaining high safety standards and performance for the site.
- Prepare and execute an operations plan for the site that includes budgetary management, labor absorption, cost management, quality, efficiency improvements, facility maintenance, and capital management.
- Achieve industry-leading customer service, focused on delivering an improved customer experience with excellent response times and best-in-class quality.
- Select, train, review, motivate and manage personnel for the efficient performance of assigned duties and growth of the QRC.
- Establish succession planning and a direct labor development program.
- Oversee the recruiting, hiring, training, and counseling of QRC personnel (approx. 40 FTEs).
- Ensure proper coordination and interface with Sales, Commercial Operations, Operations, Finance, and other functional stakeholders within the region is occurring at both an individual and team level, to promote collaboration and clear communication on all applicable orders, policies and procedures, and other functional initiatives.
- Advocates and supports the Flowserve performance culture and ensures that performance is actively differentiated and managed within the team.
- 5-10% travel.

Experience / Skills:

- BS/BA Degree or equivalent direct experience AND 8-10 years’ experience in a relevant field (i.e. industrial manufacturing, engineered pumps, or engineered-to-order environments for the nuclear industry).

- Relevant experience in industrial manufacturing including with operations management and supervision.
- Experience in manufacturing process improvement tools like Kaizen, Lean, 6-sigma, CIP, 6S etc. and quality management systems (ISO).
- Knowledge of service environment activities including DCI, machining, assembly, test, and field service for seal repairs and rotating equipment.
- Experience in a leading and instructional working style which has encouraged team-oriented process, values communication, participation and involvement of others with exposure to mentorship of employees and management training.
- High proficiency in order management tools, software and concepts. Demonstrated ability to improve process and best practices.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.

- Prior experience working in a repair services environment (experience working with rotating equipment repair/operation is preferred).
