Up to £43,000 per annum depending on experience

Due to further expansion of our services we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, passionate and dedicated Senior Physiotherapist to join our established and highly regarded team here at Nuffield Health.
This is a great opportunity to be considered for a full- time post with us working cross any of our 3 sites within Plymouth: the Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital, Devonshire FWB Gym and Plymouth FWB Gym. Although full time, consideration can be given to part time or job share for the right applicant. There will be a requirement to work on our rota for weekend inpatient orthopaedic work so willingness and an experience in inpatients is also desirable on application.
The successful candidate must have strong experience in the field of musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and experience working within the inpatient sector.
As a Senior Physiotherapist at Nuffield Health, you will be required to have a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council. You also will be required to have excellent musculoskeletal skills and be committed to developing as a practitioner. You are required to be a confident communicator and be skilled at engaging with all kinds of people.
This is an exciting role for someone keen in the musculoskeletal field as there is a huge degree of variety that we have to offer over both Outpatient and Inpatient settings. We have private consultation rooms at all sites and a wealth of state of the heart gym facilities and swimming pools for the best possible opportunity to treat our patients from acute presentation through to end stage rehabilitation. As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will:
- Work across Inpatients and Outpatients and a range of musculoskeletal conditions and post-operative cases
- Undertakes a specialised musculoskeletal assessment and treatment of own workload of patients, who may have complex presentations, and from this assessment formulates an individual treatment plan and carries out this treatment as an autonomous practitioner
- To assist the Physiotherapy Manager and wider Leadership Team in planning, coordinating, delivering and evaluating the Physiotherapy Service provided to patients within the team
- Be part of our multidisciplinary team of nurses, AHPs and consultants, supported by a regional Clinical Lead
- Help our patients achieve, maintain and recover to their aspired level of health and wellbeing
- Deliver excellent clinical care that's safe, effective, caring, well-led and responsive to patients' needs
- Be compliant with all governance standards and participate in clinical audit and quality assurance processes
- Enjoy protected CPD time and access to programmes and events by the Nuffield Health Academy
