Job Summary The post holder will: Be responsible for supporting the Chief Pharmacist and Associate Chief Pharmacists with delivering safe, high quality, person- centred medicines optimisation work programs and activities. Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Mental Health Nurse to join the Healthcare team at HMP Nottingham.

Working within the Team at HMP Nottingham will give you the opportunity to make a real difference to a group of people with a wide range of mental health issues, including complex and enduring mental health problems, some being managed under the Care Programme Approach (CPA).

This role is for registered nurses, with NMC registration, who wish to pursue a career within Offender Health, with proven post registration experience in supporting patients with primary and/or secondary Mental Health needs and have a good knowledge and understanding of CPA and risk assessment.

HMP Nottingham

HMP Nottingham is a Category B remand Prison that houses approximately 1000 men over the age of 18.

There is a dedicated healthcare centre located within the establishment where healthcare appointments can be carried out.

Main Duties of the job

You will be a registered nurse with demonstrable experience in mental health and associated professional development. Offender Health Directorate

The Offender Health Directorate is one of the largest and most successful providers of prison healthcare in the UK.

The Directorate provide physical, mental health and substance misuse healthcare services in prisons across the East Midlands, Lincolnshire & Leicestershire.
