We have substantive post’s available in the Paediatrics department. We have both full-time and part-time, and the post holder will be expected to participate in the middle grade rota covering Acute Paediatrics and Local Neonatal Unit. This is an excellent opportunity within Paediatrics at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust.

The Trust will look to supporting the successful candidate in furthering their Paediatric knowledge through exposure to clinics, operating lists (elective and emergency), ward rounds, multidisciplinary team meetings and formal teaching.

The post holder will be encouraged to participate in audits, presentations and teachings. Although, this post is not recognised for training the appointee will be encouraged in their training and development within the role.

• The review of all babies as needed
• Supervising Foundation doctors
• Review of protocols as part of the team
• The appointee will be expected to work flexible across the service as required, as and when service needs change
• To take part in outpatient clinics under the supervision of the Consultant Paediatricians

This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of £35,000 - £40,000. You will also enjoy 30 days of annual leave (pro rata) plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year.
