What skills and experience we're looking for

An exciting position has arisen for an experienced Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join The Golden Thread Alliance. The person appointed to this role will be part of our central team, working with children across the Trust to provide specialist support and advice.

We are looking for someone with experience working with children to support and develop their speech and language skills. The post holder will offer SALT assessments, create support plans, and provide advice and support to parents, carers and school staff. As the Senior Speech & Language Therapist, you will play a key role in creating, developing, and assessing the systems for speech and language across the Trust and developing the provision within our schools. This is a new role within the Trust so you would be able to take ownership of not only the role but also the systems for speech and language across our schools, alongside the School Improvement Partner for SEND.

This role is a permanent position, 32.5 hours per week term time only. The salary is within the Kent Range 10 £37,374 FTE, actual pro rata salary £27,758.60, based on 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.

• Collating and analysing procurement category Management Information to assist and support the work of Category Officers
• Responsible for ensuring computerised tendering portal (eTendersNI) is utilised and maintained in accordance with agreed procedures.
• All general administration in support of work undertaken including preparation of draft letters, minutes, notes, reports, documentation, contracts, variations to contract etc.

Service Delivery

• Plan, organise and prioritise work to ensure timely completion of tasks and deadlines met.
• Allocate work, check quality and quantity of work and monitor performance.
• Train or ensure the effective training of staff in the procedures, processes and information systems required for effective administration of assigned procurement category functions.

General

• Carry out such training as necessary for all users of the service to ensure effectiveness;
• Prepare correspondence, agenda items and take and compile minutes from meetings
• Provide statistical data to permit the completion of statistical returns to Government Departments;
• The post holder will be required to carry out the duties of any other officer when they are absent or as directed by the Category Officer;
• Dealing with telephone and email queries and engaging in follow up action where appropriate;
• Any other duties which may be commensurate to the grade.

Other Responsibilities

• Comply with the Authority's policy on Data Protection (processing sensitive tender information)
• Proactively contribute to a culture of excellence within EA procurement service to ensure retention of Centre of Procurement Expertise status.
• Undertake other related duties within the grade and competence of the post-holder as required.
• The post holder may also be required to work outside normal office hours on occasions.

Essential Criteria:

You will also have either an NVQ Level 3, BTEC National or two A levels or equivalent and a minimum of one year's experience in an office based administrative role.

We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly and reliable Senior Retail Sales Advisor to join the team at our Brewers Decorator Centre in Dartford on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, to provide exceptional service to our customers in store. Located on Crossways Business Park our Datford Store, stocks a comprehensive range of designer and trade paints as well as a large selection of wallpaper pattern books and decorating materials and tools making us the go to place for retail customers, trades people and DIY enthusiasts in the area. As a Senior Retail Sales Advisor with Brewers, some of your responsibilities will include:
• Assist the Branch Manager with developing the branch and the team including deputising in their absence• Provide exceptional service to customers in branch, to deliver upon our reputation for quality Brewers service• Have keyholder responsibilities, cashing up and associated supervisory tasks• Allocate work to the team, keeping them motivated and driven• Use product knowledge to provide recommendations and help customers find the best product for their needs• Planning and agreeing sales forecasts with the Branch Manager in line with Company targets• Ensuring orders and enquiries are dealt with and followed up on promptly• Mix paint for Customers, process specialist orders, and request special stock within the Branch network• Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and allow us to provide a comprehensive service• Promote seasonal and special items, including merchandising goods in-store to increase visibility and sales• Assisting with stock maintenance in the branch
Who we are looking for to join our team:
