SENIOR EXECUTIVE, ACADEMIC DEVELOPMENT
=DREAMS (Singapore) Limited is a first-of-its-kind secular, co-ed weekday residential model that provides after-school academic and holistic support to promising and aspiring children from low-income households. She aims to empower them to dream of a future where they are not limited by family circumstances.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Oversight and Planning
· Develop and execute an academic program that aligns with =Dreams' mission to advance social mobility through education, addressing both immediate academic needs and long-term educational aspirations.
2. Program Management
· Oversee day-to-day academic programming, ensuring structured and personalized learning pathways that support each scholar’s unique needs.
3. Educational Systems Review and Integration
· Assess and implement school-based and additional learning systems to enhance academic tracking and personalization, ensuring scholars receive timely, data-driven interventions.
4. Partnership Collaboration
· Forge and manage partnerships with educational institutions, volunteers, and mentors. Recruit, train, and oversee these partners to provide academic mentorship and enhance scholars' learning experiences.
5. Tutor and Volunteer Management
· Recruit, train, and manage tutors and volunteers, monitoring their effectiveness in delivering personalized instruction and support.
6. Subject Selection and Pathway Facilitation
· Design and conduct workshops or individual sessions on subject selection and course pathways, equipping scholars with information and guidance to make informed choices for their academic futures.
7. Data-Driven Intervention
· Monitor academic performance data to provide individualized interventions. Prepare monthly academic progress reports and adjust strategies as necessary.
8. Budget and Resource Allocation
· Manage the academic program’s budget, ensuring efficient use of resources for academic tools, training, and supplementary learning materials.
9. Stakeholder Communication
· Regularly update the Executive Director and board on program progress, achievements, and any challenges related to academic outcomes.
10. Program Evaluation
· Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of academic initiatives, working with external consultants to refine strategies that enhance scholar development and success.
KEY COMPETENCIES
1. Educational System Knowledge
· Strong understanding of the local educational system, including pathways for social mobility, subject selection, and course options.
2. Facilitation Skills
· Proficient in facilitating sessions or workshops that trains staff and support scholars in making informed decisions on academic pathways.
3. Educational Leadership
· Demonstrated experience managing educational programs, ideally in contexts focused on underserved communities.
4. Collaborative Partnership Building
· Ability to cultivate and sustain relationships with educational partners, volunteers, and mentors.
5. Data Literacy
· Skilled in analyzing academic performance data to create impactful interventions.
6. Technological Proficiency
· Familiarity with learning management systems and adaptive learning technologies for enhanced personalized learning.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Education Management, or a related field.
· 4-6 years of experience in academic leadership or program management, with a background in supporting social mobility through education.
· Experience in designing and facilitating sessions on subject selection and course pathways.
· Proven success in fostering educational partnerships and improving academic outcomes for students.
