We're recruiting dedicated and compassionate Care Workers to join our Specialist Services Team to provide care to our clients in and around the Southend area on Night shifts.

You'll be providing care and support to clients who have a range of needs which may include:

- Tetraplegia

- Skeletal disorders

- Brain Injury

- Epilepsy

- Tracheostomy

- Autism & Challenging Behaviour

- Pressure sores & treatment

- Feeding assistance

- Bowel Management

- Personal Care

- Medication Management

Shift pattern: for night work 7pm to 7am covering Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Sundays

We have an opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our multidisciplinary care team, based at our modern Fair Havens Hospice, overlooking beautiful Priory park in Southend on Sea.

This role will consist of three 13 hour shifts per week. There is a requirement for flexibility, and these shifts will be over a variety of days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

You will work in partnership with patients/ families allowing them to guide routines of care, creating a welcoming, caring, safe and supportive environment for patients, families and all involved in the work of the hospice.

At Havens Hospices, we care for children, young people and adults with complex or incurable conditions. Our specialist Care Teams can support them and their family living throughout illness, death and bereavement in the comfort of their own home and through our hospice services, Fair Havens and Little Havens.
