The Recruitment Co. is recruiting for a Junior Accountant General Ledger to join our clients manufacturing team based in the Baglan area.

Salary: Up to £35,000p.a depending on experience
Hours work: 37.5 hours per week: Monday to Friday: 8:30am- 4:30pm
Contract: Permanent

Main Responsibilities:

• Executes the ongoing accounting transactions in fixed assets and general ledger accounting including closing bookings
• Manages and reconciles the general and subledger accounts
• Prepares the monthly payment proposal
• Prepare and posts journal entries into Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
• Contributes on respecting the timely preparation and reporting of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to local and reporting GAAP as well as internal procedures
• Performs the necessary activities to support the preparation of reports to authorities/offices, such summary report, Intrastat, other statistics reports
• Prepares the intercompany reconciliation reports
• Support the Line Manager in the drafting of the transfer pricing documentation
• Assists the line manager in the preparation of the required documentation such as Notes and Management Report for the periodical Financial Statements
• Contributes in answering to accounting and financial questions by researching, analysing, and interpreting data
• Provide audit assistance if requested
• Carries on training sessions for the tasks assigned if requested
• Archives the accounting documentation.
• Promotes a safety-bound corporate culture
• Applies the Corporate Principles and Values

Candidate requirements:

• The Position is a good opportunity for a graduate or someone looking to advance
• A Finance degree, AAT qualification or equivalent
• Proficient at using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Ability to prioritise and problem solve
• Previous experience working in a team

Candidates who have the following will be at an advantage:

• Experience of using SAP systems

Your new role
Your new role as a Property Assistant will be a varied role, with a variety of responsibilities. You will be expected to use your own initiative and operate with extreme attention to detail. Your responsibilities will include:

• Document Management: Drafting/Refining Documents and Information that are central to our part in the property transactions.
• Client Communication: Liaising with clients, solicitors and other third parties to ensure progress of property transactions.
• Administrative Tasks: Streamlining file management, data entry.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate should have experience in a conveyancing environment, possess a keen eye for detail, and demonstrate exceptional organisational skills. Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, are essential. Additionally, the candidate should be a proficient administrator with computer literacy, particularly in Outlook and Excel.

The working hours for the role will be part-time (12-16 hours), which will be split across the week between Monday and Friday. Outline of the role

The Retail Apprenticeship will involve working in our store as a full -time team member, helping with every aspect of creating a great customer experience and learning about how a retailer operates their business. It is a great experience working in a fast-paced and fun environment that will prepare you for even bigger challenges. Savers Sales Assistants are extremely important to us, we recognise that you could be our supervisors of tomorrow. Duties will include:
