Maintain and monitor records of “no access” to properties and “waivers” submitted by contractors including updating contract management software, stock condition database and Orchard housing management system.
Review and verify work proposed programmes of work to take account of Right to Buy applications, redevelopment, demolition and void properties.
Record and monitor details of completed works on Orchard housing management system, Stock condition database and contract management software, ensure guarantees and warranties are properly recorded and flagged.
Use contract management software to instruct works and changes to works to contractors in consultation with the Service Manager.
Ensure contractors’ property files for completed works are submitted on time and contain all information required and are electronically filed in the correct place
Maintain and monitor records of tests and inspections completed by contractors and monitor the correction of defects
Arrange and document contractual meetings with contractors, sub-contractors and other stakeholders. Deal with telephone queries.

Annual Salary: £20,941.30 - £22,835.30 (Term-Time Only)
Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week, term-time only

About the Role

We are looking for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work with students aged 5-19, who have social, emotional struggles, profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs. In this vital role, you will collaborate with our experienced teaching team to provide both academic and vocational support, helping students succeed in their educational and personal development. Your involvement will span a range of settings, including classroom activities, outdoor Bushcraft sessions, and life skills programs.

As part of a highly specialized learning environment, you will play a key role in helping students manage sensory overload, anxiety, and transitions, while supporting them in achieving their personal and educational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to students in their learning, development, and progress across all areas of the curriculum.
• Assist students with personal and educational goals, particularly those with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs.
• Promote an environment that values equality, diversity, and respect for all.
• Play a proactive role in fostering a positive learning environment, supporting students in developing confidence and independence.
• Participate in physical intervention and personal care routines as required.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the best outcomes for students, focusing on their transition into adult life.
