The Opportunity

We are seeking motivated individuals to fill multiple full-time, entry-level processing positions at our state-of-the-art Meat Processing Plant located at 191 Temora Way, Pallamana, SA 5254. Each position comes with the opportunity to pursue a stable, progressive, and rewarding career path within a safe and supportive environment.
Successful candidates may be involved in various operational areas, entry level tasks including but not limited to:
• Production line work
• Trimming, cutting
• Chiller pushing
• General labouring on the slaughter floor
• Equipment and machinery operation
• Meatpacking and chiller room operations
• Cleaning and sterilising work areas and equipment
• Loading and scanning
• Carton room labouring and operations
• Stock receiving and movement
• Distribution and warehousing
Training will be provided for all positions, which range from physical labour roles to more technical operations.
As these are entry-level roles, no prior experience or specific skills are required. All employees will have opportunities to be further trained into skilled positions such as boning, slicing, slaughtering, or leadership roles such as quality assurance.
Key Details:
• 150 Permanent full-time positions available (40 hours per week)
• Overtime and weekend work available
• Above Award hourly rate: $25.10 (Entry Level) - $32.00 as per Thomas Foods International Lobethal Abattoir Production Employees Enterprise Agreement 2020
• Immediate start available (after Q Fever vaccination)
• Cert II - Cert IV in Meat Processing on the job training
All shortlisted applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment, including alcohol and drug screening. A Q-Fever vaccination is mandatory, and will be provided by the company as part of the employment process.
