Job Responsibilities
As an Automotive Services Technician, you will be responsible for performing various automotive repair tasks to ensure vehicles are in good operating condition. You will play a crucial role within the team, and your specific responsibilities will include:
- Conducting automotive repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks
- Diagnosing and repairing using appropriate tools and equipment
- Completing work according to repair standards and timelines
- Inspecting and testing vehicles to ensure quality and safety
- Adhering to work processes and safety regulations
- Assisting other technicians and providing necessary support
Experience Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least SPM, Certification from Vocational school in Mechanical, Automotive or Industrial Engineering or completion of apprenticeship.
- At least 3-5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicant must be willing to travel.
- Aptitude in using various hand tools.
- Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, etc.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English & Chinese
- Good team player, positive working attitude and result-oriented.
- Relevant automotive repair experience, candidates with prior experience in similar positions will be given preference
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in the use of relevant technical knowledge and tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Problem-solving and adaptability skills
