CAMHS Practitioner - Band 5
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Clinician with a core profession to join the locality core CAMHs Specialist Mental Health Team in RISE CWPT. We would welcome applicants from Learning Disability, Child and Mental Health Branches and Social Workers who are who are passionate about working with children, young people and their families .
To work within a multidisciplinary team offering assessments and intervention, under supervision, in a range of settings and evaluate the mental health care to children, young people and their families in line with local and national guidelines.
To provide regular and on-going, joint and individual work, in relation to child and adolescent mental health to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.
To promote the needs of young people with emotional and mental ill health to other agencies and the general public. To identify and evaluate specific client needs through assessment under the supervision of a band 6 practitioner. To assist in the development of new services and projects within CAMHS. To participate as an active member of the CAMHS team and establish and maintain effective communication with other agencies and professionals. To report any difficulties that may arise in a timely fashion to band 6 nurse supervisor/senior nurse/team leader
