• The role requires you to deploy and retrieve loggers (small metal listening devices) within a DMA (district metered area) for water companies.
• The day to day duties include deploying loggers on the client’s furniture, most likely on fire hydrants and valves and normally 80-100 loggers deployed per day.
• The loggers will need to be retrieved 24 hours later and downloaded to see what results have been captured and the process repeated (the loggers capture constant leakage noise between optical times of 2.00 - 4.00 am and the noise is given in Decibels)
• This is a manual job which may involve lifting, stretching and bending and experience of driving long hours is beneficial.

This would suit a Driver, Van Driver, Multidrop Driver, Meter Reader, Noise Logging Technician, Field Technician, Labourer, Warehouse Operative or somebody with a manual working/outdoor background who is looking for a change in career.

We are recruiting High Intensity CBT trainees to join Croydon Talking Therapies. Postholders will spend three days a week in the service and over the other two days, they will undertake the PG Dip in CBT course at Royal Holloway University of London. HRGO are seeking a Trainee Customs Clearance Clerk for our Client based in the Dover area. Good analytical and excellent organisational skills are essential, and you must work in a methodical manner and be able to respond effectively to enquiries. This role will suit a candidate that has an interest within the transport and customs clearance industry. Full training and support will be given for this position.

Duties include:

  Calculating Duty / VAT cost for each consignment

  Processing Import/Export declarations

  Dealing with general enquiries from importers / exporters concerning all areas, relating to Customs Procedures, Tariff Classifications, Duty Rates and any other documentation requirements

  Keeping up to date with changes in regulations, laws and customs procedures

  
  

Hours are based on shift rota of 60 hours one week, days and nights and 24 hours the week after days and nights

Experience and Qualifications 
You don’t need experience to join our Activities & Leisure Team. You may already be a Lifeguard but if not, that’s ok! We will provide the training and support required to ensure you are great at what you do. All we are looking for is…

- Able to swim a minimum of 100 metres on your back and front continuously
- Able to dive to a depth of 3 metres
- Able to swim efficient breaststroke and have some knowledge of sidestroke

RPS are seeking additional Leakage Field Technicians for our South-East Water contract, covering the Basingstoke, Sussex and Kent area to detect, locate and report both visible and hidden leaks from the trunk main and distribution network.
