ICT Tier 3 Technical Specialist Trainee - Networking 37.5 hours
Band 4 developing to Band 5 - 1 year fixed term
Completion of CCNA within the 1-year fixed term contract must be achieved, training costs will be provided by the organisation.
The post-holder will support the implementation and delivery of the IT network services across the entire Tameside and Glossop Health and Social Care Integrated Care Organisation (ICO) during core hours of 07:30 a.m. to 18:00. This will include travelling to remote sites using your own car.
To provide specialist network support within the ICT Services department for the Trust’s key IT infrastructure.
Responsible for delivering, supporting and administrating corporate data and voice network systems for over 5500 users spread over several sites within the locality.
Provide effective and efficient IT network management and technical advice on Cisco networking technologies, infrastructures and other integrated systems within IT services to the ICO.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and communication related issues quickly to minimise network unavailability.
Provide support, monitor, and maintain all network infrastructures and develop network services per the ICO’s business strategies.
To deputise for the Server Specialists as required.
