Key Responsibilities

• Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson values

• Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible

• Dealing with lapsed accounts by checking in with customers

• Generating sales with new and existing customers - proactively calling customers to discuss offers and quotes

• Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey

• Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers

• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement

The role is varied with travel throughout the company across our many services in the Central and North regions of the UK as well as some home working and office working. You will be expected to travel to deliver face to face training, occasional overnight stays, alongside virtual training to supplement our comprehensive training programme offered to all staff.

Main Responsibilities

• To support the Learning and Development function to deliver quality learning and development as part of our comprehensive training programme to all staff in their roles.
• The post requires travelling across the business in all regions to deliver face-to-face training, alongside virtual classroom training to support our comprehensive training programme for all staff. The hours will be variable and may include evenings and weekends too.
• To support the Lead Trainer to develop and deliver course materials which are current, evidence based, aligned with Eden Future’s core values, legislation, and the requirements of the Care Quality Commission.
• Deliver outstanding teaching and learning that is differentiated, impactful and innovative.
• Encourage, motivate and engage staff in their learning and development.
• Support the Learning and Development Manager in the delivery of the annual training plan
• Deliver mandatory and statutory training to new and existing staff, in any of our locations across the UK. Training includes, but is not limited to:

• Induction core modules including Active Support, Safeguarding Adults and Medication.
• First Aid at Work
• Moving and Handling theory and practical
• Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
• Maybo Conflict Management modules
• Trauma informed care
• Any other courses as/when required

• Research, review and update all training materials embedding new legislation, policies and practices as delegated by the Lead Trainer
• Work collaboratively with operational teams to deliver service specific training in line with the Training needs Analysis (TNA), monitoring bookings and attendance
• Undertake continuing professional development (CPD) through research and attending relevant training, including Adult Care specific and andragogy principles and service visits
• Undertake Train the Trainer courses and re accreditation where required eg First Aid; Maybo
• Provide appropriate learning and development support to staff across the organisation where needed i.e. dyslexia, visual difficulties, physical needs
• Demonstrate and embed Eden Future’s values which align to our People Strategy
• Maintain expected professional and performance standards escalating these when necessary
• Undertake Trainer admin duties such as maintaining registers, recording DNA and cancellations and claiming certificate.
• Completing other duties as determined by the Lead Trainer, within the general scope of the post

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience of delivering training in an Adult Social Care setting (Essential)
• Knowledge of Healthcare/Social Care subjects, research and developments within the Adult Social Care sector (Essential)
• Qualifications in Teaching/Training/Adult Social Care (Desirable)
• Experience working with Learner Management systems and e-learning platforms
• Proficiency in designing training materials including PowerPoint and use of Microsoft Teams for delivery
• Proficient in MS Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and across multiple sites based on business needs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and adaptability to talk to individuals at all levels, as well as senior stakeholders across the business

LCHS NHS Trust is offering an exciting opportunity to an individual who meets the job specification within our Learning and Organisational Development Team Apprentice Centre. The successful applicant will be joining our team to internally quality assure our vocational programmes. A typical day will include contact with a wide variety of individuals to support their vocational journeys.

The role is designed to enrich the quality of the learning delivered to health and social care staff across Lincolnshire. We aim to prepare staff for their next step in their vocational development as part of our organisational approach to ‘growing for the future’. The post holder will Internally Quality assure the delivery of apprenticeship education, , training, and development of Clinical Apprenticeship Programmes and will be responsible for progressing the delivery of apprenticeship programmes ensuring that the delivery is compliant with the academic and apprenticeship standards prescribed by the awarding bodies.
The post holder will principally support the delivery of Clinical Apprenticeship training to support evidenced based care across the workforce teams.
As contribution within the Learning & Organisational Development Team, the post holder will ensure that the workforce is fit for purpose in terms of their roles and that individual role competencies are reviewed to provide a safe, high quality and efficient service.

Teledyne ISCO has an exciting Engineering Intern position available. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience and knowledge that will help develop your career.   The Engineering Intern will assist as needed with engineering tasks related to both new product development and support of existing products.   Responsibilities may include (but not limited to):  - Conducting performance tests on competitive products, engineering prototypes, and alpha/beta units.  - Performing research on competitive products, manufacturing methods, and for new product development in general.  - Creating and updating engineering models, drawings, and schematics.  - Creating, implementing and maintaining procedures and work instructions.  - Designing and implementing test fixtures.  - Assembling prototypes and conducting continuous improvement testing. Candidate must be pursuing a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.   Candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.    Hours will be a minimum of 15 - 20 hours per week between 8AM and 5PM Monday through Friday during the school year.
