About Our Job

The Coordinated Case Management Intern will work in close coordination with the Program Coordinator of Intervention Services and the Outreach Team to serve gang-involved clients and their families as they navigate various systems to access resources and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist and contribute in the management of client’s coordinated case plans

• Assist with the coordination of the multidisciplinary team meetings

• Assist in maintaining quality control of files.

• Participate in community events

• Assist gang outreach team with work in the community

• Performs other duties as assigned.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

• Intern will gain case management experience by interacting with and assisting the Intervention Program.

• Intern will acquire detailed knowledge of the Denver Gang Violence Reduction Model.

• Intern will have the opportunity to shadow gang outreach

• Build professional relationships and networks with outside community resources and service providers.

TIME COMMITMENT

• For the sake of stability and continuity, GRID asks for a minimum commitment of one semester, 4 months, with at least 20 hours per week.

TRAINING

• In-depth training will be provided for interns to understand programming and the various needs of clients accessing services. A high-level of confidentiality is required when working with GRID clients.

About You

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an internship program through a local university.

• Comfortable working with diverse populations and non-English speakers.

• Previous experience working with vulnerable populations preferred, but not required.

• Experience working in social work/social services preferred, but not required.

• Possess personal vehicle and valid driver’s license.

• Minimum commitment of 3 months and at least 24 hours per week. 35 hours per week preferred. Desired start date: Winter/Spring 2024 or Fall 2024.

• Reliable access to a personal vehicle, valid US driver’s license, and active insurance policy required.

• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Organized with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and writing skills.

• An interest in international and refugee issues.

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Provide excellent customer service to ensure service contracts are compliant to policies and entitled correctly in our database, per customer contractual requirements. This allows our customer’s equipment to receive proper maintenance resulting in the ability to save the lives of our patients.

You are responsible for

Coordinating and administering all phases of service contract management, including but not limited to:

• Performing contract review, for compliance, to ensure all applicable policy criteria have been satisfied
• Analyzing and limiting business risks
• Utilizing critical thinking to analyze complex contract requirements, special provisions, pricing, internal approvals, and terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations and corporate policies

Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position is $20.00 to $23.00, plus overtime eligible.  The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
