Job Title: Mobile commercial gas engineer

I am currently working on behalf of a large FM and maintenance company, seeking an experienced and qualified commercial gas engineer. This will be a semi mobile based role covering 2 commercial properties, in the Tunbridge Wells. Ideally the candidate has experience working within commercial environments carrying out all areas of commercial gas maintenance and minor remedial tasks .

As a Gas Engineer the post holder is responsible for planning and carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs to Commercial/Industrial boilers and completing inspection and gas safety check certificates .

Main duties will include:

• Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules, frequencies and industry best practices.
• Identify any defects found and provide parts list and estimated timescales to complete the defects.
• Ensure Boilers are transported and handled in accordance with current Health & Safety Regulations.
• Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all colleagues and customers.
• Carry out installation, repairs, maintenance and plan operational duties, working with the various systems and reporting as requested.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general labour duties on the construction site.
• Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Follow instructions from the site supervisor and work well in a team.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation on the job site.
• Assist with various tasks as required by the project.

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS Card.
• Own PPE, including safety boots, hi-vis vest, gloves, and hard hat.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
