The specialist nursing role will actively contribute to the on-going development of the Vascular Access Service across the trust and ensure that it delivers and promotes best practice in the care and management of all vascular access devices, promoting aseptic non touch technique to reduce the risk of device related complications and in particular infection. The post holder will provide specialist service and support and deputise for their line manager in the management of their clinical specialty and in conjunction with the Infection, prevention and control team. This will involve dealing with complex situations and having to take appropriate action in a variety of settings. Be expert in peripheral intravenous cannulation. What is the Role?

In this role, you'll mainly work as part of a team carrying out various overhead line inspections and maintenance whilst also carrying out work on construction projects on the 33kV & 132kV overhead line network.

- You'll be responsible for the safety of yourself and colleagues, and act as an ambassador for a strong safety culture in everything you do.

- The role can be demanding and you'll be required to respond quickly to emergency situations; we want to provide the best possible service to our customers in their time of need.

What do I need?

To ensure you get the most from your role, it would be beneficial if you have the following:

- Must have previous experience and knowledge of overhead line tower work.

- Previous examples and knowledge of working outdoors in all weather conditions.

- A relevant qualification, SSE or equivalent DNO Operational Authorisations or Tower Rescue experience would be advantageous.

- You will need a full UK driving license for the position.

Mott Macdonald Bentley (MMB) is the design and build unit of global engineering consultancy Mott Macdonald. We need a Process Engineer Project Leader to support us deliver work for the UK’s largest water company, Thames Water.

We believe the best engineering projects are delivered by engineers, so we combine the traditional Project Manager and Process Engineer roles into a single, Project Leader role.

You will:

- Lead the design of water and wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects through the outline and detailed design, construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Be responsible for the process design of your project including, but not limited to, assessing Thames Water process calculations and authoring calculations, mass balance diagrams, and supporting HAZOP studies.
- Coordinate the project team comprising Electrical, Mechanical and Civil designers and ensure designs are completed on programme, within budget, and to the quality defined by Thames Water specifications.
- Occasionally visit sites across the Thames Valley Region (costs incurred are recoverable).


Candidate Specification :

- IChemE-accredited degree in Process or Chemical Engineering.
- Chartered member of the IChemE or Associate member able to demonstrate progress made in working toward Chartership.
- Outline and detailed design experience of water or wastewater projects.
- Knowledge of the Designer or Principal Designer duties under CDM 2015.

The Berkshire Early Intervention in Psychosis Service (EIP) is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic band 6 mental health practitioner to join their innovative and dynamic team. The EIP team is specialist service, with teams embedded within each locality. The team work with individuals experiencing a first episode of psychosis or who are presenting with an at-risk mental state, between the ages of 18 to 65.

We operate a Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm service, although some flexibility is required. This advert is for a role covering Reading, based at Prospect House.

You will have a clear passion for supporting people and their family in their recovery. You will work with our integrated team of psychiatrists, psychologists, psychological therapists, and STR workers to empower and support our clients to understand their experiences and return to college, university or employment. We work with our clients for up to 3 years and the majority do get transferred back to their GP, therefore it is a rewarding team to work with.
• To act as named worker, offering evidence based interventions for psychosis, under the supervision of the Clinical Lead. The role is focused on working collaboratively with the client and their family/friends on their recovery, developing a relapse management plan.
• To undertake comprehensive assessment of health and social needs together with the client and their family to implement a plan of care and provision of NICE recommended interventions.
• To work closely with other stakeholders to ensure the client has a comprehensive and holistic care plan to meet their well being needs.
• To monitor and assess the physical health of service users in line with Trust policy and national guidelines.
• Plan and provide treatment in collaboration with a multi disciplinary team and ensure clients are on the correct care pathway

This is a role within the Psychological Medicine Service older adults team at Royal Berkshire Hospital. The role would suit an experienced practitioner from a mental health nursing background or other similar profession who is looking to further their experience in an acute clinical setting.

The post holder will be joining a well-established and supportive team working with older adults admitted to Royal Berkshire Hospital. The team supports patients on all medical wards across the hospital as well as the emergency department, and is patient centred. Patients present with mental health or cognitive difficulties in the context of declining physical health and/or neurological or neurodegenerative conditions. The work is dynamic and there are many opportunities to develop close working relationships with specialist departments within Royal Berkshire Hospital as well as with other mental health services.

• You will undertake initial assessments of older adults who have been referred by Royal Berkshire Hospital and will focus on their mental health needs but adopting a holistic approach
• You will offer continued mental health support of patients when necessary while on their journey within Royal Berkshire Hospital
• You will use your skills to formulate a working diagnosis and relevant risk and management plan
• The cases will be complex at times, and you will participate in and lead professionals meetings
• A collaborative approach will be used included the view of the patients, family, and carers.
