OurReading basedCAMHSRapidResponseteam are looking foran Administrator.In this role,youwillbesupporting ourcliniciansbyanswering phone calls,draftingandproof-readingletters, attending and minuting meetings,andmanaging shared inboxesand diaries.
Strong communicationskills are essential as you will be liaising withother NHS services and thepublicvia phone and emailon adailybasis. You will need to have good attention to detail, be well organisedand havedemonstrableexperienceinusingtheMicrosoft Office Suite including Word and Excelto a high standard.
Your team,CAMHS Rapid Response,responds to young people referred in crisis. Clinicians offer assessment, and short-termcommunitysupport to young people and their parents/carers.You’llworkalongside 4 other administratorssupportingthis busy,diverseand multidisciplinary team.You’llfind thatstaffhave genuine job satisfaction andthatlearningand developmentis encouraged and nurtured.
Thisfull-timepermanentrole is hybrid, so afteryourinduction there is the opportunity to work 1-2 days from home.Working hourswill be between09:00 – 17:00Monday to Friday. There may be opportunity to work08.00–16.00.
• Working as part of an administrative team, you will support our clinicians in sending out correspondence and booking appointments. You will answer emails and telephone calls, following up actions whererequired.
• You will need to be experienced in taking minutes at meetings, diary management and confident in using the full Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• You will alsobe requiredto work on your own initiative anddemonstratea willingness to help others as a key member of the team.
• The ability to build effective relationships, with a flexible approach to work is essential.
• You will be expected to be able to prioritise work and meet deadlinesin order tofulfil the requirements of the post.
• Carry out day-to-day organisation of systems to ensure the smooth running of the administration team

The “must haves” for this role:
• Previousexperienced of working in anadministrative rolewith good attention to detail.
• Intermediateto advanced computer skills including Microsoft Outlook,Wordand Excel.
• Experience answering phone calls in an office and/or customer care environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team anddemonstratingaccountability for own work
