To provide a comprehensive administration and clerical service within the ward. The post holder will be required to understand ward systems, taking into account the needs of patients who require admission, transfer and discharge, and be expected to communicate with a wide range of professionals, consultants, doctors, nursing staff and patients/relativesand carers, organising own workload in order to maintain an efficient and professional service.

The role of the MINAP Data Administrator is to be responsible for the provision of comprehensive efficient and effective data management for the MINAP Services enabling the delivery of a high-quality service to patients and allowing medical and clinical staff to focus on direct patient care. The post holder will gain an in-depth knowledge of the MINAP database and will be required to extract and input data from the patients medical notes/care pathway onto the MINAP database. Additionally, the post holder will be required to provide data as requested under the supervision of the Clinical Lead/Specialist Nurse/Matron for MINAP and liaise with all members of the multi-disciplinary team. There will also be opportunity to support in other areas within the Cardiology secretarial team, supporting the HF Audit and other Audit services within Cardiology.

The successful candidate will treat patients on an outpatient basis and the role will include travel to our outlying site in order to facilitate the running of the outpatient clinics. You will be required to deliver treatments on an independent basis, managing your own caseload and specialty clinics. There is a patient advice phone service that will also need to be monitored on a daily basis.

Whilst on probation all contracts will be a minimum of 24 gym floor hours, this is to ensure you earn a guaranteed minimum salary. Your earning will increase as you establish your PT clients and improve your earning potential.

PT sessions have a sliding scale, the more you deliver the more your take home earning potential is.

Support research and audit programmes to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of our FCP service. Streamline the pathway of care by providing a responsive service so that patients receive timely access to care. Leadership Lead, manage and contribute to service delivery. Implement all aspects of effective clinical governance for own practice, including undertaking regular audit and evaluation, supervision and training. Communicate effectively and appropriately, with patients and carers, complex and sensitive information regarding diagnosis, pathology, prognosis and treatment choices supporting personalised care. Facilitating learning Provide feedback and support to other PCN clinical team members on appropriate referral criteria. Critically reflect on your own practice, and continue to develop your skills.
