About the role

Search Consultancy are supporting a commercial drone retailer company to recruit for a 12- month FTC Finance Assistant at their office in Leeds City Centre.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an individual who is looking to get experience in both ledgers and has an enthusiasm for Finance.

The role will consist of daily bank reconciliations including multi-currency transactions, credit control and cash allocations with weekly production of debtor lists, ledger account balancing and manual journal entries, assisting with VAT returns, management accounts and cash flow, and accurately processing invoices in financial accounting systems whilst assisting with facilities management.

To be considered for this role you will ideally need to have AAT qualification or qualified by experience of at least 1 year. You will need to have great interpersonal skills, high energy and love a challenge in a fast paced environment.

The role is starting up to £28,000. This will be working from the Office in Leeds City Centre on full time hours of 38.5 hours a week with some great benefits.

To provide a speech and language therapy service to students at St Rose’s, meeting communication and eating & drinking* needs. *if appropriate competencies have been completed/post graduate dysphagia qualification heldTo be responsible for the management of a caseload of students with complex communication needs across school and college. To work as an autonomous practitioner completing assessments, planning and implementing interventions and evaluating therapy programmes. *To be responsible and accountable for the management of a complex caseload across school and college of students with dysphagia. To offer assessments and make recommendations for safest practice to students, carers and families. To provide written guidelines and write risk assessments for students who eat orally and have a diagnosis of dysphagia. To provide staff training and make onward referrals to relevant professionals when appropriate.
Clinical Work: • To offer Speech & Language Therapy to students at St Rose’s, promoting the development of communication skills, and delivering a dysphagia service* • To work as an autonomous practitioner completing assessments, planning and implementing interventions and evaluating therapy programmes for students with complex physical and health needs • To liaise with external agencies and allied health care professionals, including AAC WEST, AAC Suppliers, as well as consultants, case managers and private/individual therapists and make onward referrals as appropriate • To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to meet the needs of students, communicate effectively with students, carers, members of the multi-disciplinary team and outside agencies, including onward referrals • To demonstrate use of evidence-based practice, undertaking relevant training to maintain and develop best practice and meet student needs and own professional registration • To ensure that students have an understanding of what they are doing in therapy and why it is relevant to them. Personal Development: • Undertake relevant training to ensure continued professional development in line with HCPC and RCSLT standards • To engage in regular supervision with Speech Therapy colleagues and the wider Multi-disciplinary Team as appropriate

Obtain a set of case notes for every patient attending specified clinics. If the original case notes cannot be found, only with permission from the Supervisor and only when a complete search has taken place, a Temporary set of case notes can made to be used at clinic. Prepare case notes to ensure they are tidy and contain complete information including a referral letter, up to date results, patient labels and blank continuation sheets. Where patients have had a test or and an X-ray prior to their clinic appointment, the results should be traced and obtained and made available at clinic. Ensure all case notes are tracked to the appropriate location using the Case Note Tracking functionality on PAS and hand written logs where necessary. Provide a professional, efficient and friendly reception service for patients and relatives attending clinics. Ensure patient information is accurately recorded on PAS including attendance, cancellations and Do Not Attends. Clinic outcomes should also be recorded in accordance with the Trusts policy and procedure. Ensure all follow up clinic appointments are either booked on PAS or added to the appropriate outpatient waiting list. Collect additional information as requested, with the aim of monitoring the quality of the service provided in accordance with the Trusts Performance Management Framework. Obtain information on each patient attendance and in a timely manner accurately record on the Patient Administration System in line with Trust Policy. Respond to the receipt of test requests and follow-up, where appropriate. Provide suitable cover for other clerical staff in cases of absences, as delegated by the Assistant Patient Services Co-ordinator. Assist the member of staff responsible for stationary stock in ensuring an appropriate level is maintained. Refer to line manager, any changes/cancellations to patient plans and clinics in line with the Outpatient Management Policy.
