The position of Transport Administrator involves:

• Support daily planning activity for a fleet of vehicles operating locally - including deliveries and collections.
• Co-ordination activities to include vehicle route planning and scheduling and container scheduling.
• Managing and de-briefing drivers on a daily/weekly basis.
• Co-ordinating with team to enable vehicle maintenance and service schedule for the contract vehicles.
• Working with a number of internal programmes to achieve effective operation of the business.
• A range of associated administrative duties to include responding to all queries via email and phone in a timely manner.
• You will also be required to work closely with our customers to ensure the smooth running of the operation as a whole.

Essential skills required for Transport Administrator:

• Previous experience working in a transport environment to include knowledge of working time directive and EU driver's hours.
• Ability to communicate at all levels.
• Strong geographical knowledge of the UK.
• Excellent organisational skills and prioritising workload.
