To undertake a range of other skills-based or protocol-driven psychological therapeutic interventions, in addition to Initial Interventions, depending upon the needs of the service. About the Role

Joining our team, you’ll be responsible for high volumes of calls liaising with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, and supervisors to schedule appointments, ensuring that future jobs are appointed in a way that will ensure our contractual Service Level Agreements are met and no false promises are given. You will excel in dealing with residents as part of our back-office using a range of communication methods including telephony and email.

Using our MSi system, you’ll actively schedule available operatives and subcontractors to jobs, discuss complex repairs, demanding customers and those who have suffered service failure, where your role is to instil the customers confidence.

About You

Candidates will have the following:

• Social Housing and Repair and Maintenance background.
• Proven experience in scheduling/planning Disrepairs, Voids or Complex works.
• Competent in communicating with direct operatives, subcontractors and residents.
• Basic building maintenance knowledge e.g. duration required to undertake a variety of maintenance tasks.

There is an exciting opportunity for Registered Mental Health Nurses to join the Forensic Inpatient Directorate at The Bracton Centre and Memorial Hospital - Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust.

We are a Trauma Informed Service, looking for dynamic and compassionate individuals. We are seeking to recruit nurses who are curious about the ways that adversity and traumas impact our patients’ behaviours, functioning, clinical presentations and engagement. You will be supported to deliver high quality nursing to patients, in which your nursing therapeutic and relational skills will help our patients to feel safe, listened to, valued, engaged and empowered.

You will be supported to be a trauma responsive nurse, developing practices that avoid causing further harm, promote engagement and create a safe context for healing and recovery.

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, where good communication supports the management of clinical and risk issues on the ward. You will ensure appropriate evidence-based practices are used, including Trauma Informed Care, a traffic light system for the prediction of violence and aggression and safety huddles.

The Forensic Directorate supports occasional rotation of staff to other wards to enable them acquire new skills, avoid burnouts and gain the full benefit and experience working in the forensic directorate. The post holder may hence be rotated to another ward as part of further development and to meet service needs.

Oxleas offers a wide range of NHS healthcare services to people in community and secure environment settings. Managerial responsibilities: Ensure the submission of accurate returns from the Trust for the Department of Health, Area Team, Secondary User Service (SUS) and to meet other statutory requirements by the appropriate deadlines. Ensure the provision of information for the Trust Board, the Clinical Divisions and senior managers throughout the Trust as outlined in the Service Level Agreements by the appropriate deadline to the required quality standards. Ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness of analytical information support to the Local Delivery Plan, Performance Management, Modernisation, National Service Frameworks and local strategic planning functions required by the Trust. Working with the Head of BI and Performance and other senior managers in the Trust, to determine the requirements for routine and ad-hoc information service provision and standards to support clinical care and decision-making. To ensure that service arrangements are in place for these items including key performance indicators and that they are described in the Service Level Agreements for the Trust. Ensure implementation of the local mechanisms for each system in the Trust to use the most current sets of national codes and Area Team standards i.e. GP codes, practice codes, other organisation codes, ethnic codes, etc. and including the appropriate dissemination and implementation of Data Set Change Notices. Ensure that the Business Intelligence Team infrastructure is developed to be relevant, operationally stable and efficient. This will include designing, developing and adapting complex software using principally MS SQL and MS VB for applications. Act as a BI liaison to the clinical divisions including attending divisional meetings and acting as a subject matter expert for the BI Team Manage junior staff in the Business Intelligence Team To motivate staff and ensure that personal objectives of the teams are centred on the service provision and customer service philosophy. Develop across all disciplines within the Trust increased awareness of the importance of information management, standards and process management to ensure that the data accreditation standards are maintained and built upon. Train staff in relevant information systems Support the Head of BI and Performance to deliver demand and capacity modelling by assisting divisions to assess capacity and demand for clinical services Please see attached job description for further information.
