Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join our team, covering three key sites in Bracknell, Farnborough, and Basingstoke. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £38,000 per annum, 25 days of annual leave, and mileage reimbursement. Please note that a vehicle is not provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical systems across the three sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently to minimise downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Participate in a call-out rota (1 in 5 weeks) to provide emergency support.

Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Proven experience in a similar maintenance role, preferably in a mobile capacity.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A valid UK driving licence and the ability to travel between sites.

• Carry out a Quarterly communal fire door inspections and annual customer flat front door inspections recording defects via Fire Door Inspection app. Carry out on site minor adjustments to minimise any fire risks

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of relevant codes of practice and regulations associated with Fire Safety, Fire Doors and Fire safety equipment and signage.
• Experience working in a customer service role.

Your Time at Work

About the role: Work Experience Coordinator Activate Learning are recruiting for a Work Experience Coordinators to join our team in Bracknell, supporting a caseload of students to develop their employability skills and prepare for a work experience placement relevant to their career plans.Working alongside our teams of learning professionals, you will deliver ‘Preparation for Placement’ sessions to students, as well as progress tracking sessions throughout the academic year to ensure all students are given the appropriate guidance and support to complete each stage of the Work Experience process.You will ensure that all placements are accurately recorded on our work experience placement system and proactively support students and employers throughout the placements, ensuring excellent outcomes for all stakeholders.
