Logistics Manager
Build Recruitment are currently representing a large FM provider who are looking for a Logistics Manager to join their team based in the South West London region.
Salary: up to £52k per annum.
As Logistic Manager you will be:
• Ensuring dispatched items are recorded, packed, and passed appropriately to designated courier for forward dispatching.
• Ensuring all taxable items are reported and auditable information is recorded.
• You will oversee authorizing sufficient stock and supplied delivered to contracted sites, ensuring you stay within budget.
• Working closely with finance team, forwarding processes to all custom related information and to the appropriate authority.
• Training and managing supervisors, ensuring health and safety, basic and logistical tasks.
• Ensuring supervisors are keeping withing legislations and all staff are keeping to the training materials.
You will have:
• Previous management experience within logistics and customs (this is essential)
• Ability to multi-task and deal with working under pressure.
• Knowledge on Health and Safety systems in the logistics Industry.
• A Satisfactory Enhanced DBS (or willing to go through)
Ideal qualifications:
• BICS
• IOSH
• Managing safety
