We’re looking for a Logistics Manager to join the BOH team and manage the goods in, stocktake, logistics and event set up. The Logistics Manager will also play a key role on coming up with initiatives to reduce wastage and minimise our environmental impact.

You’ll supervise a team of 10 logistic porters, ensuring deliveries are efficiently managed and regular stocktakes completed. You will be key in leading and inspiring the team; help set up incredible events and maintain the high level of due diligence of the BOH operation.

The ideal candidate will have a background working in a hotel, stadium or event venue in a role with similar responsibilities.

Strong administration and organisation skills.
Advanced IT skills, confident using software applications such as Microsoft office, Fourth or Adaco.
Experience with stock control.
Excellent communicator/negotiator. You will be part in regular HOD meetings with our senior leadership team, so you should be able to present ideas in a confident manner.

Events Logistics Coordinator

One of our clients is currently searching for an Events Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Feltham!

Responsibilities:

• Support with the planning and execution of a range of events in the UK and Overseas.
• Consult with stakeholders to gather all requirements to deliver the right event solution to meet their objectives.
• Consistently apply and demonstrate our event expertise to our clients.
• Liaise with external vendors and suppliers - for sourcing, negotiating, contracting, and onsite event delivery.
• Negotiate rates, terms and conditions on our client's behalf - maximising spend to drive savings without compromising on quality.
• Support with the preparation and management of all event documentation - critical paths, event schedules, staffing grids, running orders, delegate materials.
• Provide on-site support which may include international travel.
• Keep up to date with company and legal guidelines for event health and safety, privacy (e.g., GDPR), and security; and provide guidance to clients.

Skills / Experience

• Proven end-to-end UK and overseas event delivery experience.
• Proven Meeting Technology and Delegate registration knowledge and expertise.

• Experience using a virtual meeting platform experience (WebEx).

Managing Support Functions This is not an exhaustive list of duties and a regular review will take place with the post holder as part of their ongoing development and performance management. Be the central point of management or co-ordination for corporate functions within the Practice, broadly, Responsibility for IT, external communications and associated logistic requirements of the Practice. Co-ordination of and delivery, as required, of external contracts, reporting and statutory/regulatory submissions. Complaints. Key Points Offers a key point of contact for the above. Establishes and oversees a new processes to address the I.T. support requirements of the Practice; is the lead officer for I>T and I.G. security and compliance.
