Job Description
1. Oversee the works on equipment structures, installations, deployments, facilities, and equipment being deployed at sites.
2. Plan and work out the resource provision requirements, work, schedule, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for works at sites.
3. Review planned work schedule and method statements prior to commencement of site work activities.
4. Ensure that works are carried out accordingly to design, meeting the safety, health, environmental and comfort requirement for stakeholders.
5. Identify defects and damages at the site infrastructures, including equipment and facilities, as well as theft, accidents, and incidents.
6. Carry out safety training to instil safety awareness. Ensure safety rules and regulations at sites are adhered to by all site personnel.
7. Be part of Safety Committee and ensure compliance to safety, health and environmental requirements including Authority Code of Practices (COP) and WSH, MOH & MOM Guidelines.
8. Resolve any unexpected problems or difficulties that may arise at sites.
10. Prepare regular reports to update site progress, resource utilisation, requirements, past and on-going activities, etc.
Requirements
1. Minimum bachelor’s degree with at least Six (6) years’ relevant field safety experience in supervision of installation and maintenance of roadside and Civil and structural coordination with government/utility agencies and other contractors.
2. Experience as a safety auditor/inspector in ensuring Environmental, Safety and Health practices are complied with.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, resourceful and meticulous.
4. Highly motivated and pro-active with the ability to work both independently as well as in a team.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for Windows.
6. Good verbal communication and writing skills in English.
7. Be expected to travel regularly between office and sites.
8. Prepared to work on site and perform night work based on project needs.
