Position: Quality & Technical Manager
Location: Derby
Salary: £47,000 to £50,000 + 10% bonus
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager to join a market leading engineering company, operating in a wide range of industries including aerospace, defence, automotive and oil & gas.
They are looking to recruit a Quality Manager who manage all aspects of the Quality Function. i.e Controlling processes, materials, product compliance, maintaining quality systems and support customers regarding quality requirements and queries.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Manage the Quality Department to ensure objectives & KPI’s are met.
• Communicate wit the engineering & production departments to sort any quality issues.
• Carry out annual personnel appraisals and identify development/training requirements.
• Monitor site quality, processes and maintain site & customer standards.
• Liaise with customers, managers and staff.
• Responsible for implementing new quality processes across the site. As well as offering advice & training regarding quality standards and initiatives.
Experience or Qualifications:
• Understanding of engineering drawings
• Strong background working within Quality.
• Worked within a similar industry such as Aerospace, Defence, Medical, Oil & Gas and Automotive.
Salary / package:
• Pension - match contribution from 4% - 10%
