The role
There is an exciting opportunity that has arisen within the Adult Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Team for fixed term full time Assistant Safeguarding and Quality Officer. This is a fixed term contract until 10 October 2024.
The primary focus of the role is to support safeguarding and quality officers to work with local services which deliver care and support to make quality improvements. In addition to this, the post holder will work closely with the adult safeguarding managers to undertake project work to explore adult safeguarding and care quality data and provision within Warrington.
We are looking for someone with experience of working in a social care or health setting with adults and/or older people. Experience of safeguarding, multi-agency working and working as part of a team would be desirable, however, training will be available. Commitment to providing a quality service is expected and new ideas for improvements are welcomed.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills both written and verbal.
Excellent organisational skills.
The ability to manage their time efficiently.
Resilience to work in a fast-paced role.
