This position utilizes knowledge of policies and procedures for delivery orders and small purchases and knowledge of commercial supply sources and common business practices related to sales, prices, discounts, units of measurement, deliveries, stocks, and shipments. The Purchasing Agent maintains responsibility for work leading to the purchase of a wide variety of complex and highly specialized services, supplies, equipment, and systems that support the full range of programs and activities. Major duties and responsibilities include:

• Purchasing Support - Conducts purchasing under the micro purchase threshold; reviews and edits purchase requests; resolves issues to ensure requests and bills are processed accurately and in a timely manner; identifies needs or problems and determines corrective action; utilizes federal and agency acquisition regulations to identify possible sources and other pertinent information related to purchases; tracks obligations/commitments and monitors expenditures to support recurring budget forecasts and identify potential fraud, waste and abuse based on procurement history and purchase trends; and,
• Procurement Support - Procures supplies and services to meet the purchase, rental, or lease needs of the organization; develops unique selection criteria for each purchase; Prepare and issue contract modifications for changes in delivery schedule and sends formal correspondence to a variety of customers such as inventory management specialists, other service line contacts, and contracting officers as appropriate for the purposes of auditing documents, processing receiving reports, and payments.; conducting open market research and sole source small purchases for highly specialized medical items with critical product requirements; and,
• Administrative Support - Serves as the first line of contact for medical staff and customers in regard to procured items; develops reports and spreadsheets, obtains, organizes, files and retrieves reports for briefing and presentation purposes; performs a variety of receptionist, timekeeping, record keeping and miscellaneous duties in medical facility; and,
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

We are searching for a Procurement Manager to lead key procurement activities for the JDE Peet’s Australia and Campos Coffee business with the objective of maintaining and improving the quality of products and services in a cost-effective and efficient manner. This is a full-time position based in our head office in North Sydney with WFH flexibility and occasional requirement to work from our Campos head office in Banksmeadow. In this role, you will:

• Develop local procurement strategies aligned to business objectives
• Ensuring continuous improvement of procurement processes and the provision of goods and services to support business requirements
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including regional and global procurement and third parties
• Manage the relationship with strategic finished goods, packaging and logistics suppliers to ensure quality and compliance standards are met

• Develops, records, establishes the maintenance of an automated Stores Stock system.
• Plans equipment and supply requirements for all departments and initiates necessary action in acquiring equipment needs with Facility, Bio-Medical, Service Unit Staff, appropriate professional consultants in Area Property Management Section, and liaison with architects.
• Provides management advisory services and consults with the Executive Committee and clinical staff in the development of Inventory Management needs of the Service Unit on an ongoing basis.
• Maintains IHS equipment records and seeks out information on new and existing products necessary for equipping a Service Unit and its satellite clinics.
• Directs the application of the Service Unit equipment planning process which includes computerization of the equipment needs for the annual equipment plan and tracking and modifying those computer lists as necessary throughout the annual phases.
• Responsible for all government motor vehicle check in and check out system with in the Service Unit. Maintains records on maintenance of motor vehicles and prepares monthly motor vehicle use record and reports. Maintains and cleans the vehicles to ensure safety of the operators. Assist employees in filing appropriate forms for accident reporting.
• Directs and reviews the Personal and the Real Property accountability Programs for the Service Unit and Clinics.

Procurement Specialist (Contract)

You will be responsible for the procurement of spares/parts, supplies and services for the maintenance and operation of the power plant and its facilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with plant engineers and personnel from the maintenance / operations / facilities teams on the requirements of the materials / services based on stipulated technical specifications and scope of work descriptions.
• Perform sourcing activities from both local and overseas vendors.
• Prepare and send out RFQs to the relevant suppliers/vendors and monitor their submissions.
• Conduct supplier evaluation and manage selection processes to ensure submissions are in line with the technical and commercial specifications.
• Expedite the delivery of the order and communicate with the internal stakeholders for any changes to the order as needed.
• Resolve supply, quality, and service invoicing issues with vendors and ensure commercial, legal and contractual compliance in all the procurement transactions.
• Undertake procurement continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Control & Instrumentation or equivalent.
• Technical procurement experience in a similar environment will be advantageous.
• Strong technical knowledge and evaluation writing skills.
• Excellent planning, organising, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite especially Excel. SAP experience will be a plus.
• Resilient, self-driven and independent team player with the good ability to work multi-task and meet deadlines.

***Procurement Workstream Lead***

This is a significant role which will help GCC capitalise on its new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The role holder will lead and manage the implementation of the Procurement workstream for a series of projects and including a new Ariba SAP S/4 HANA ERP system. They will assure the implementation by enabling opportunities for automation through well-defined processes and a seamless experience for all users. The role holder will be part of the One Programme leadership team and manage a range of internal staff and contractors, partner with GCC’s identified stakeholders, and optimise the accuracy of data and the adoption of the ERP system.

On site presence will be required (1day a week- Monday) and as required during the training period.
