Please see the job description and person specification Integrated communications and engagement for our South West London priority programmes Work within the strategic objectives of the programme to jointly provide strategic communications and engagement support and advice. Deputise for the Deputy Head of Communications, Media and Engagement at internal and external events and meetings as required. Interpret national guidance from NHSE as well as best practice guidance from other respected bodies, such as communications professional bodies and other national research or policy organisations, to support and advise the team to implement this within the ICB and ICS accordingly. Lead the communications specialist teams to deliver the high quality work which is of a consistently high standard, including public affairs and stakeholder management, content and issues management, internal and corporate communications, traditional media, social and digital media and EPRR communications management. Support the implementation of a channel strategy to disseminate content across all our SW London owned-channels, to reach target audiences and to regularly evaluate and adapt to ensure its effectiveness. Support all team members to be skilled and able to create and upload targeted and appropriate content to all of our owned channels. This will include the ICB and ICP websites, social media channels, the ICB intranet and other staff engagement channels, stakeholder bulletins as well as wider partner and community networks. Producing reports that analyse and demonstrate the effectiveness of our integrated communication and engagement programmes of work, including using evidence to demonstrate the effectiveness of our work at ICB and ICP level.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced individual to provide a professional and efficient marketing and communications service over the Yorkshire Cluster of United Learning academies.



The academies are Secondary schools based in Barnsley and Sheffield; Barnsley Academy, Sheffield Park Academy and Sheffield Springs Academy, with a fourth joining in the near future.



This is an exciting opportunity to take on a role within the Cluster.



The successful candidate will have overarching responsibility for providing a professional marketing and communication service, you will develop and actively support internal and external marketing and communication, supporting the promotion of the Cluster with key stakeholders and public audiences.

This role requires a highly focussed individual who is organised and passionate about making a difference for our academies and the local communities. The successful candidate will be a highly efficient individual with outstanding attention to detail. This is a challenging role that will bring many rewards.

We are seeking a Charity Fundraising Executive to Join our Cash for Kids Team in Sheffield.

We are looking for an ambitious self-starter with excellent communication & organisational skills and some previous project/event management experience.

You will build local relationships with businesses & community groups as well as organise and deliver fundraising events throughout the year. Project managing our annual Mission Christmas campaign in the Sheffield region is a major part of this role.

You will feel comfortable establishing relationships with all key stakeholders both internally and externally via networking (both in-person & virtually) and be an important brand ambassador for the charity in the local area.

Whilst primarily working in the Sheffield area, you will also be required to work on Yorkshire wide projects where necessary.


Our Team

Cash for Kids is the in-house charity of Bauer Media in the UK.

Working closely with our colleagues in both the radio & publishing divisions of Bauer, we fundraise all year round to enable us to award grants to help those most in need.

Cash for Kids has local fundraising teams in 22 locations across the UK, together with a small central team based in the North East. We’re a passionate, fun, close-knit team, committed to helping children & young people who need us now more than ever.


In this role you will be expected to work at Home, in the office and in the field. The office location is in Sheffield.


Key Responsibilities

Building & maintaining relationships is central to everything that we do at Cash for Kids. Whether that is internally with our Bauer Media colleagues, with our Cash for Kids team across the country or externally with local businesses, community groups, individual fundraisers or the beneficiaries whom we support.
As our Charity Fundraising Executive you’ll be building new relationships and developing existing ones across Sheffield.

You’ll be responsible for;


- Assisting the Regional Charity Manager with the day to day running of the charity, performing key administrative & financial tasks (including banking procedures, recording all financial transactions, chasing outstanding donations) and assisting with the grant applications process.
- Developing & delivering fundraising campaigns & events.
- Seeking out new partnership opportunities with local businesses, schools, universities and community groups.
- Developing & building existing partnerships & maintaining strong communication with fundraisers.
- Planning and delivering our biggest campaign of the year – Mission Christmas. This will challenge your organisational, logistical & relationship skills to the maximum.
- Ensuring that Cash for Kids remains ‘front of mind’ and an integral part of the Bauer Media business locally.
- Making Cash for Kids famous in the area by seeking out media partner & influencer partnership opportunities.
- Keeping the local Cash for Kids website & social media platforms updated with news stories & engaging content.


In this role you will be responsible for your own set of KPIs and delivery on financial targets.
