We are looking for a Customer Communications Assistant to provide a ‘Best in Class’ service across a number of customer and visitor channels here at Uber Boat by Thames Clippers.
Working directly with our customers, you ‘ll address customer feedback and complaints promptly and endeavour to resolve matters professionally via a number of channels such as email or live chat.
Keeping our customers well-informed, you’ll communicate delays and service changes such as river disruptions and closures.
While supporting our social media strategy, you’ll respond to queries and feedback on platforms such as X formally known as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Trust Pilot and Trip Advisor.
Largely responsible for the front of house function at our head office, you’ll develop lasting and important relationships with our stakeholders and office guests, answering any inbound calls, providing administrative support, managing office security and assisting our Business Managers and EA team.
We are looking for someone with a passion for communication who has excellent communication skills with an ability to build positive relationships both internally as well as externally.
Fostering understanding and trust, you’ll be committed to delivering excellence and strive for continuous improvement in order to drive better performance and customer satisfaction.
You’ll be proficient in a wide range of software, inclusive of MS Office and have experience of working and resolving high volumes of customer communications, in person or virtually.
With strong administrative skills, you’ll have an organised approach to work with high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your varied workload. You’ll also have the ability to adapt to an increase in service demand with a ‘hands on’ approach.

We’ll give you all the support and training you need regarding our systems as well as a thorough induction on how we work and the culture at Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, so you’ll be set up for success.
The role is full time and 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday.
Where: You’ll be based at our offices at Clipper House, Trinity Buoy Wharf, London E14 0JY, a short walk from Canning Town tube or a hop across the river on our staff boat, from North Greenwich tube.
