Grounds Maintenance Operative - Open to all experience levels, full training can be provided Location: Cornwall Salary: £11.50 to £12.50 per hour, depending on experience Contract type: 6 months FTC, Full Time Working hours: Monday to Friday 07:00 am to 17:00 pm About the role We are looking for enthusiastic Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our team in Cornwall for a 6-month FTC. This role involves planting trees between Chiverton Cross and Carland Cross, contributing to an important environmental project. You will play a crucial part in creating and maintaining outdoor spaces that not only enhance the landscape but also protect the environment. The focus will be on minimising environmental impact and, where possible, delivering improvements to the natural surroundings. We are particularly interested in local workers who are passionate about protecting and enriching Cornwall's environment.
Requirements - Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and work well in a team.
- A full valid UK driving licence will be desirable.
- CSCS card is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a Landscape/ Grounds Maintenance Operative would be preferred, but not essential.
