- Review routine /non-routine referrals of applicant suitability requests that include, but are not limited to, debarment referrals and investigations that contain major issues.
- Make recommendations for review by a Personnel Security Specialist that include accepting referrals, return the referral to an agency if issues do not warrant OPM, and closing or returning a case that was inappropriately referred.
- Request additional information from agencies, from the subject, and from sources, to obtain information to establish jurisdiction or clarify or resolve issues in cases.
