The facility Privacy/FOIA Officer has oversight for the data governance program and initiatives in the VHA Medical Center or Healthcare System and its supporting catchment area. The position makes unique facility-level determinations about disclosures, issuance of denials, redactions, access, use and dissemination of federal agency records. The position formulates policy, ensures compliance with federal and state laws and conducts thorough research of federal implementing regulations. Provides guidance while communicating complex information to the Executive leadership, facility staff and outside stakeholders.

Responsibilities include the safeguarding of Government information while supporting accountability and transparency initiatives. The Privacy/FOIA Officer reports directly to a Senior Executive member of the VHA facility (i.e., Facility Director, or Assistant Facility Director) and is solely responsible for all aspects of the Privacy/FOIA Program to include Strategic and Risk analysis, planning, program outreach, coordinating training, developing metrics and ensuring that federally mandated information governance and accountability measures are in place. My client is looking for a Technology Solutions Manager to drive the future of their technology and play a vital role in the development of their technology systems and solutions. Your new role
You will be required to develop their technology integration Strategy, through comprehensive research focusing on customer portals, robotics, and bar scanning. You will need to align your strategy to the overall goals and objectives of the business. You will be a key member of steering the implementation of an ERP systems to support their CRM (Salesforce) and other business processes. You will be required to streamline operations, improve data management, and provide better insights for decision-making. Whilst adding acquisitions data into their new ERP system.
As part of their innovation and research plan, you will keep up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, which will steer the further of their IT department. Alongside this you will look at business process optimization, working closely with different departments to identify inefficiencies in existing processes and areas where technology can be leveraged to improve efficiency and productivity.
A fundamental element to this role will be business partnering, visiting different sites across the country, listening and understanding their challenges and how you can make improvements across each sites through innovation, this will require you to conduct research and evaluate each site covering any potential risks along the way. You will add to the culture of improvement forward-thinking / whilst understanding where they have come from, and they are. Establishing processes for monitoring and evaluating the performance of technology initiatives. You will be required to utilize data analytics tools to extract insights from the CRM and other systems. Use these insights to drive strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for business growth.

• Have developed an IT strategy installing new technologies making a difference across a UK wide business.

National Highways have an excellent opportunity for a Programme Development Team Leader to project manage and coordinate a programme of tunnels M&E and roadside technology renewal schemes through site surveys, feasibility, value management and prelim design stages for the Southeast Region. You will lead a team of project managers in defining, capturing and documenting the business objectives for the portfolio of renewal schemes to ensure the best value and whole-life solutions are selected to meet those objectives. The total capital renewal programme spend for the Region across tunnels and technology is approximately £40 million per annum.

This position will be based in one of our offices at either Guildford, Maidstone or Basingstoke.

What you’ll be leading on

Programme managing and facilitating the development of the region’s 5-10 years forward programme of work, coordinating inputs and activities across multiple regional teams (e.g. Asset Needs, Digital Services, Scheme Delivery and Commercial)
Ensuring all relevant activities required in the development of the forward programme are well planned, managed and delivered within expected timescales, technical and quality standards
Utilising the tools and specialist resources required to manage and embed programme development and VM processes in the Region’s investment and scheme planning activities.
Managing the development of project briefs and business cases, ensuring business outcomes are clearly articulated, and that all necessary stakeholders (e.g. asset needs, design, delivery, digital services, suppliers, early contractor involvement etc.) are consulted on the development of the proposed solutions.
To provide leadership, direction and line management of your team of project managers, ensuring timely setting of objectives, performance management reviews and development of appropriate succession and development plans.
Ensuring the health and safety and wellbeing of customers, employees and our suppliers are fully considered and accounted for throughout the planning and delivery of each activity

To be successful

Good understanding of relevant tunnels and roadside technology standards (CD352, CM430, knowledge of specifications contained in National Highways Operational Technology Specifications Library) and associated strategies for renewal
Expert knowledge of asset specific Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) standards and their application on the highways network.
Good commercial, contract and financial acumen, including driving innovation and adding value to programmes of work to ensure budgets and deliverables are met.
Experience in leading a high performing team to achieve deliverables to programme and budget
Demonstrate previous experience of project/programme management across a portfolio of schemes, and have a working knowledge of project management tools, ideally including CEMAR & P6 Programmes
Experience working collaboratively with suppliers and internal & external stakeholders to deliver a safe, cost effective programme of work
