More detail about the role: The Devon Business Intelligence Shared Service was created in February 2024 to provide BI services to the Devon system. Hosted by the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, the Shared Service comprises of analysts, data engineers, data scientists and Cogito developers from Royal Devon and Devon ICB, delivering BI for these organisations. This post will be based in Newcourt House, Exeter or Devonshire House, Barnstaple, whichever is most convenient. Some home working hours are available but the majority of hours will need to be onsite. An excellent opportunity has arisen within Business Intelligence for an enthusiastic Senior Information Analyst to support the delivery of information analysis and business intelligence solutions. This role will be suited to a self-motivated and talented individual who is dedicated to working as part of an effective and ambitious informatics team. The post holder will be part of a team that supports the implementation and development of Business Intelligence (BI) tools to enable and deliver the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust performance monitoring and information reporting requirements. Business Intelligence work closely with clinical and managerial staff from a variety of areas within the organisation to gain a better understanding of the Trusts performance and to support the delivery of the Trusts key objectives. The position will require a good understanding of analytical and technical techniques that can be applied to healthcare information, and offers a proactive and motivated candidate the chance to expand current proficiencies and develop new skills within a changing and challenging environment. This band 6 role does not qualify for visa sponsorship due to the existing going rate for anybody who has received their sponsorship before 4th April 2024 being £51,700. Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. Interview Date: 21st or 23rd October 2024, Newcourt House, Exeter. Interviews will be face to face only and will include presentation and testing. Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2024-5 rates, inclusive of a 5.5% pay award implemented from October 2024. If you join before this date, the pay award will be backdated to April 2024 or your start date, whichever is later. Until then, remuneration will be based on the 2023-4 pay bandings (Pay scales for 2023/24 | NHS Employers).
