The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Adviser to join our growing Central HR Team. In this pivotal role, you will help shape a forward-thinking HR service that supports the Trust's strategic goals and fosters a positive working environment. You will provide operational HR advice to schools across the Trust, covering employee relations matters such as safeguarding, disciplinary processes, grievances, investigations, and sickness absence management, while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and Trust policies.
This fast-paced role offers the chance to collaborate closely with the Central Executive Team, Headteachers, and HR colleagues, building strong relationships across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert HR advice on employee relations, including safeguarding, disciplinary, and grievance processes
Ensure compliance with current employment law, safeguarding regulations, and Trust policies
Support Headteachers and Senior Leaders with employee relations ensuring consistent application of HR processes
Assist in creating a centralised HR service to enhance operational efficiency
About You
CIPD qualified or equivalent with a solid understanding of current employment law and HR best practices.
Strong operational HR experience, particularly in handling complex HR casework and employee relations issues
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work diplomatically and confidentially with colleagues at all levels
Confident working independently, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Willing and able to travel to different sites across the Trust as required
