Role: Healthcare Assistant
Shifts: 12 Hour Nights, 8PM - 8AM
Salary: £14 - £15 per hour
Location: DT6, Bridport
Job Type: Part Time
Shifts on offer*: Night, 8PM - 8AM
*Shifts Times are set times, but Monday to Sunday flexibility on offer depending on availability.
The Service User
This is a young paediatric package looking for someone confident to provide care based around the following:
- Dual Lumen Tracheostomies
- PEG Feeding
- Cerebral Palsy(With developmental delay)
- Tissue Viability
- Challenging Behaviours
- Epileptic seizures via Lennox Gastaut Syndrome
About the Role
Sugarman Health and Wellbeing are looking for a Healthcare Assistant who can support in and around the Weymouth area, to support across two young male service users who has a PEG, Learning Disabilities,Atresia of airways,Oxygen and other complex needs. Our Healthcare Assistant roles are also doubled up as a companionship role by building up key relationships and promoting independence through daily tasks for our service user within his own home environment and especially within the community.

Requirements for the Role
Here at Sugarman Health and Wellbeing, we are looking for an outgoing bubbly candidate, who can show their best assets on providing the highest quality of support.
- A minimum of 6 months of professional UK Care experience.
- Complex Care experience is mandatory.
- To provide the correct compliance documents including updated Right to Work and original DBS certificate.
- Must be a Driver holding a Full UK Driving License if living outside if the Weymouth area, due to access of Public Transport.
- Experience with Tracheostomy, Vent, Epilepsy and Medication Administration.
