The Role

The Financial Management team is a centralised finance service within the Resources Directorate using the Business Partnering approach to provide business and financial advice, guidance and expertise across the Council. A recently appointed Assistant Director who is due to commence in early December will lead the team.

You will play a crucial role supporting the transformation of financially sustainable services that will serve our residents to live healthy and independent lives whilst also advocating the continuous improvement journey within Financial Management.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance, the roles will support the Council’s Corporate Finance responsibilities together with Service Directorates.
