Location: Preston Area, Lancashire
Salary: £37,668 - £44,700 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Term Time Only + 2 Additional Weeks (41 Weeks per year)

Criteria:
Registered with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Hold a professional degree in Speech & Language Therapy
Full UK Driving Licence
Duties:
As a Speech & Language Therapist working with children with special education needs, learning, physical, and sensory disabilities, you will:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs.
Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each child’s needs, focusing on enhancing communication and social skills.
Provide one-to-one and group therapy sessions to support language development and sensory processing.
Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to create a cohesive approach to each child's development.
Offer training and guidance to school staff on implementing communication strategies within the classroom.
Monitor, evaluate, and report on the progress of each student, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
Work with a multi-disciplinary team to create holistic support plans, contributing speech and language expertise to wider educational and behavioral interventions.
Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings to support goal setting and progress tracking for each student.
