• Leaving the back yard clean, tidy and clear of rubbish, and picking up litter as I see it.
• Ensuring trays are washed as part of the tray wash process.
• Loading the van as required, checking the van for roadworthiness.
• Talking to the customer about any changes to their order, including short code item and substitutions, offering a refund for anything they are unhappy with.
• Taking care of products/deliveries as if they were my own.
• Explaining to the customer that they will not be charged any more for their substitutions.
• Delivering during the customers time slot.
• Calling the customer before arriving at their property if early.
• Calling the store/centre if running 30 or more minutes late.

You will need

Main Responsibilities

• Be vigilant and proactive in reporting any safeguarding concerns you may have about vulnerable individuals in your care

The Ideal Candidate

• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to support and develop a team
• Be qualified to a minimum standard of Level 2 in Health and Social Care

• Experience of working with adults with Learning Disabilities or Mental Health conditions is preferable
• Be willing to undertake further training or development (Health and Social Care Level 3 or 4 and Diploma in Management Level 5 if applicable)

We are looking for a Senior Support Practitioner to be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day running (in line with Children 's Homes Regulations) of the Children's Home including promoting the safeguarding of young people's welfare. Participate in the on-call roster in support of the Children's Home.

Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for:

• Manage the residential home on a day-to-day basis ensuring it is compliant in meeting all relevant legislative and contractual requirements, including the health and educational needs of young people.
• Liaise with other departments and external agencies to ensure that the young people receive appropriate plans, programmes, and support in the home to aid their rehabilitation into the community and to meet contractual requirements.

• Assist in budget preparation and manage and control budgets to meet financial parameters.
