The following are the duties of this position at the full working level.

• Under the guidance of call site management, the incumbent utilizes on-line tools including Aspect, Customview, Webview, and Electronic Workforce Management (eWFM) to identify and react to real-time telephone staffing issues.
• Monitors and tracks employee time usage through the daily use of Real Time Adherence (RTA). Communicate real-time adherence issues to operation management for immediate resolution and/or to account for the employee by inputting the proper exception into eWFM or similar system.
• Notifies management of operational performance issues such as long wrap up of phone calls, lunch and daily breaks.
• Maintains a log of operational performance issues, staffing, and system problems.
• Monitors adherence to schedule by on-line tool applications.

• Administer Special Park Uses permits
• Educate, interpret, and inform visitors about resources, conservation, laws, and regulations
• Coordinate, track, plan, and facilitate entire permitting process for park visitors and staff, including the billing and payment process, and field monitoring for special use permit activities.

Major Duties:

The primary purpose of the position is to provide administrative information and assistance to staff, supervisors and managers of the Outer Banks Group. The incumbent will provide customer service and support for the practical and technical aspects of office administration. This includes human resources, budget, acquisition, and property management, and other administrative support services. This position in large part supports work remaining in the Parks after the implementation of the Serving Human Resources Office (SHRO). This series includes performing clerical assistance or technical work that requires knowledge of the procedures and techniques involved in carrying out the work of an organization and involves application of procedures and practices within the framework of established guidelines.

AREA INFORMATION:

The Outer Banks are comprised by several towns including Manteo, Nags Head, Kill Devil Hills, Kitty Hawk, Buxton, and Ocracoke. The area is a beach destination. The beaches, as well as Albemarle and Pamlico sounds, provide exceptional recreational opportunities, such as fishing, surfing, boating, and many other watersports. Cape Hatteras National Seashore (www.nps.gov/caha): Cape Hatteras National Seashore was designated as the first National Seashore in the Park Service.

• Serves as initial contact for customer problems. Resolve more difficult problems with the assistance of more senior IT Specialists.
• Diagnose and resolve routine problems with applications, operating systems, and equipment.
• Maintain problem tracking and resolution databases.
• Provide daily security of the physical and automated IT infrastructure.
• Process requests for systems access, issues, and resets passwords, maintains records of access.

• Responsible for obtaining and recording patient information as assigned per unit policy.
• Shares in the responsibility of maintenance of clinical records and nursing care plans. Assists in admitting and discharging patients.
• Shares in the responsibility for reporting observations by observing the patient's condition and reactions, and keeping the nurse in charge informed of condition changes.
• Assists patient in Activities of Daily Living (ADL). Assists health providers in examination of patients by explaining procedures, positioning, draping and assembling instruments and supplies.
• Performs general maintenance duties including, arranging and restocking supply cabinets; cleaning and sorting supplies, instruments and equipment. Performs 12 lead EKG and sets up for the cardiac monitoring.

• Serves as a Security Assistant in support of the Site Support Office on matters relating to security and Force Protection programs. Reports violations of building security policies.
• Administers visual monitoring of security control panels, sound alarms, and visual observation of unsecured ingress/egress areas. Responds to security alarms on a 24-hour basis.
• Coordinates with Organizational Directors to determine access levels for staff members. Maintains an open channel of communication with Federal Protective Service and supporting security offices regarding activities considered as a security threat.
• Uses the Defense Eligibility Enrollment System (DEERS) database, to verify issuance of identification cards. Incumbent takes adequate security measures to secure and protect DOD property and personnel records as directed.
• Verifies clearance levels for authorized access to systems and databases; assists with issuing facility access badges for eligible personnel.
• Duties described above reflect the full performance level GS-07. Duties assigned to an entry grade of GS-05 will be developmental in nature.
