The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as a Medical Air Reserve Technician (ART), providing medical administration management expertise to the Aerospace Medicine Enterprise Manager. Provides technical training to reserve personnel in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.

Duties:
1. Provides direct support to the Aerospace Medicine Enterprise Manager for completion of all health standards and force health protection program management.
2. Provides support toward conducting studies, collecting data and identifying trends. Oversees record keeping and program compliance.
3. Provides Wing support in the organization and administration of Force Health Readiness. Provides comprehensive case management, care coordination, and discharge/disposition services
4. Provides support to establish squadron compliance with pre/post deployment tasks and other medical readiness screenings and requirements.
5. Conducts extensive studies and monitors compliance with medical requirements to ensure timely completion and medical qualification of assigned personnel.

• Receives telephone calls and visitors to the clinic, determines the nature of call or visit, obtains identifying information, and verifies the patient's eligibility for treatment. and updates the existing medical record or prepare new record.
• Schedules appointments, completes the client admission forms. Screens/Updates the existing medical record or collects sufficient information to prepare new record. Reviews discharge information or handouts with client.
• Maintains clinic exterior, reception area and exam rooms to ensure general cleanliness (to include cleaning urine, feces and blood). Dispenses medications, annotates prescriptions and refills prescriptions accordance with polices and procedures
• Completes bi-weekly payroll reports. Prepares and submits required end of month reports. Assists with preparation of the yearly clinical budget. Initiates personnel actions at the direction of management. Monitors and replenishes inventory.
• Receives payments for services rendered. Balances cash and checks daily; makes daily bank deposit. Monitors and replenishes inventory. Serves as clinic ordering official and Government Purchase Cardholder. Processes purchasing documents.

To serve as the Administrative Assistant performing various administrative and clerical duties in support of the 72d Force Support
Squadron, reporting directly to the 72d FSS/FSR Resource Management Flight Chief. Performs office automation duties such as
word processing in support of the administrative and clerical work. The position is located in a multi-layered organization with
subordinate groups which differ from each other in terms of subject matter, function, relationships with other organizations and
administrative requirements. There is a system of formal internal procedures and administrative controls, formal coordination among
subordinate units and a formal progress reporting system which is sufficiently complex to require continuous attention on the part of
the administrative assistant. Prepares a wide variety of recurring and non-recurring correspondence, reports and other documents and
reviews and finalizes correspondence and documents prepared by others, handwritten or electronic drafts. Reviews and processes
incoming and outgoing correspondence, materials, publications, regulations and directives. Receives telephone calls, greets visitors
and ascertains the name of the caller or visitor. Performs other administrative and clerical work in support of the office/organization.
Uses varied and advanced functions of word processing software to create, format, modify, edit and print a variety of letters, reports,
memos and other textural documents. Requisitions office supplies, printing support and related materials and services. Makes travel
arrangements, such as scheduling transportation and making reservations. Uses advanced functions to generate table of contents,
import graphs or databases, create glossaries and align multiple columns. Independently carries out familiar assignments in
accordance with previous instructions, standard procedures for creating documents or entering/retrieving data and established use of
software packages. Receives and transmits electronic mail. Gathers monitors and maintains data to complete reports. Responds to
inquiries and assists others. Actively participates in the organization substantive programs. Receives requests for information,
responsible for the accuracy of staff summary sheets, advises when the information can be furnished and provides it personally from
files and records or follows up with staff to see it is provided. Performs other related duties as assigned.
