As an APJ you will serve as an esteemed member of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) at the USPTO. The PTAB has the authority to:
- Review Appeals of adverse decisions on patent applications made by patent examiners;
- Review Appeals of Reexaminations and Reissue proceedings;
- Conduct Interference proceedings;
- Conduct Derivation proceedings; and
- Conduct AIA trials, including Inter Partes Review and Post-Grant Review.
