As the Pastoral Support Assistant for a Key Stage, you will be responsible for providing day to day support to the Heads of Year and Pastoral Team, liaising with staff, students, parents and external agencies in relation to student support issues as required. The post holder will provide support for our inclusion room, sharing with other staff the supervision of students during the time they are working in isolation. The ideal candidate will enjoy working directly with students, supporting them with a firm but compassionate manner.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to foster effective professional working relationships with students, teachers and external bodies alike. Outstanding administrative, planning and organisational skills are essential to this post as is the ability to demonstrate a high standard of confidentiality, presentation and attention to detail.Please refer to the Job Profile and Terms Summary for further information.
