At Pivot we believe children deserve better. In our academies we teach and support children and young people from Key Stages 2 – 4 who have been excluded from school, for whom mainstream education is simply not working, or those with an EHCP who require a specialist placement. Every day our teams do incredible work, making a huge difference to some complex and challenging children, many of whom come to us with some traumatic backgrounds. Due to the growth of Pivot, we are expanding our team and currently have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Assistant to join us. This role will be supported by the Business Manager and will be key to ensuring that all our learners can learn in a safe environment across all our sites. As the Maintenance Assistant for Kirklees, you will have responsibility for five sites (two of which are used for offices). All of our sites are currently based in Bradley, Huddersfield, however, from time to time, travel to other sites may be expected. The role will be responsible for ensuring timely completion of all maintenance tasks on sites, including carrying out regular and periodic inspections. This will include being reactive and dealing with any maintenance tasks as they arise. This is an exciting new opportunity at Pivot for someone who is looking for a varied role in a busy environment.
