Position: Sushi Chef (Two)
Employer: NEW MORNINGSIDE SUSHI LTD
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £26- £27K Per Annum
Working days / hours: 39 hours within a 5 to 6 day week
Benefits & Entitlements: 28 days paid holiday (pro rata), employer’s pension contribution, Chef’s uniform and meals on duty.
Duties include preparation of Sushi dishes, training and supervising junior Chefs, purchasing & dealing with suppliers, stock control, quality checks, health & hygiene compliance, monitoring food safety & temperatures maintaining cleanliness within work areas, care and maintenance of specialist equipment, cost analysis and review, preparing reports and schedules and performing key duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE OF NEPALESE CUISINE IS NECESSARY. Previous experience - 3 years + working within a Sushi kitchen. Extensive proven previous experience at required skill level
At least 3 years culinary expertise in Sushi.
Good communication skill
